On Friday, Taylor Swift attended Billboard’s Sixth Annual Women in Music event held at Capitale in New York City.
The singer collected the Billboard Woman of the Year Award wearing an Oscar de la Renta Spring 2012 dress.
She is the youngest artist to receive the honour, so it’s no wonder she was so radiant wearing her favourite colour twice in one week.
The rose-red chiffon draped dress with a waist-cinching red leather belt was teamed with nude Prada pumps and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.
I think she’s been reading your complaints about her never-changing hairstyle, because she showcased a new, straighter do with freshly cut bangs.
Do you like the new transformation? Or is Taylor still not doing enough for you to get excited just yet?

I’m very excited!!! Love the new look.
I think she looks good.
Seriously sexy, but still in the Taylor-safe zone as far as the dress goes. I like her staying true as a role model to her young fans, but still this look is recognizing that she’s growing up too!
I LOVE the dress, it was one of my favorites from the collection and I think Taylor looks amazing in it. I also LOVE her new hair! This is a fabulous look!
I love this look. The dress is gorgeous and the straight hair makes a nice change.

Well , to begin with, I’m in love with all the ODLR Spring 2012 collection.
And nice to see Taylor Swift picked one of these collection to showed her new hair. Love It.
Love it!
Looks slightly wig-gy to me.
+1. And, I think the color is kinda boring.
+1. i don’t know why but her straight hair always looks weird to me
She’s looking fabulous.
I approve. Great dress and her bangs are cute and more casual.
This is my first time commenting–LOVE the blog! I love Taylor and think this look is great for her. Sparkles and curls are awesome but it’s nice to see her change it up. The dress was great on the runway but I think it looks better on the Taylor.
thanks for your first comment x
BDOTW!
she looks ok, but boring

I love the dress on the runway, on her … boring.
wow! i think her transformation is welcome, i’m not crazy about the look but i am glad that the wavy hair is gone! she’s definitely on the right track imo
I still am uber not impressed. The hair is a great change, although it has been styled to make it look artificial, adn the colour is bothering me a bit. I am bored of this style of dress on her, from other angles it fitted horribly badly, and the fabric has a sheen which under paparazzi bulbs looks cheap, unfortunately. The pose is stillthe same, and even though they aren’t peep toes the shoes are dull. Her makeup hasn’t changed either. I am still waiting fo ra realy wow moment.
Seriously pretty. The hair is a huge improvement. Phew.
Am i the only one that dont like the hair? I mean she looks very vintage, but not in a good way
Wow! She looks really great and she actually looks her age, which she really hasnt for a while. Im happy that she is seeing that there are more grown up looks that fit her style.
She needs some serious highlights but I love the change in her hair otherwise, as always I would love to have whatever Taylor wears..we have very similar taste in dresses.
No sequin mini-dress? Check. No curly up-do? Check? No strapless or one-shoulder gown? Check.
Gurlfriend completely stepped out of her zone. If she comes back to the old patterns, I’m gonna slit my throat.
booooooooooooooooooooooooooring!
She is so lazy.
she actually looks like a barbie doll here.in a good way
