It wasn’t only Nicki Minaj who was sporting a new do and wearing Versace this weekend; Katy Perry was too.
The singer finally grew tired of that bright pink hair colour, as she showcased a softer strawberry blonde hue with light pink streaks at the 3rd Annual ‘Change Begins Within’ Benefit Celebration in LA on Saturday evening.
She wore a Versace Spring 2012 dress with her shorter, chicer chin-length bob.
Russell Brand’s gold-detailed waistband perfectly complements the gold-studded details on her white dress.
The golden theme didn’t stop at her dress as she wore Barbara Bui Spring 2012 gold snakeskin pumps to complete her new look.
I love the hair and the makeup, both refreshingly light, but she’s not selling the Versace dress to me.
I’m not sure if it’s the length or the colour which is bothering me the most.

It’s the bob, I don’t mind the pink really. STyled in retro curls, or just soft waves it’s pretty, that bob is horrendous though.

Omg amazing hair and makeup!! A different look for her and I love it! I really love the dress and I think it looks great on her but it could be shorter. I also think the colour of the dress with the new hair colour is unexpected so feeling a but funny. Russell is hot as always

This is pretty much the first time I’ve liked a look of Katy’s–the dress is cute and interesting, and the hair color is much better.
While all the elements of the look seem to be working, the dress somehow feels off on her, agree, and it`s not just the length for me it`s the neckline and the fit of the top half that don`t quite work for her.

The hair is hideous. It reminds me first and foremost of a babrie I had whose hair changed colour from bubblegum pink to blonde in heat or cold (or as mattel said, in water) and this is like thei nbetween stage. Itis just very one hit wonder 90′s-early noughties singer/girlgroup. Truthfully hideous. It’s so ageing as well.
Only the makeup is working for me. I like human shades of hair personally.

I, on the other hand, love the dress but am not crazy about the hair colour. It’s so tacky and half-baked. Neither here nor there. Looks like her pink got washed out and she didn’t have any money to have it redone. Love, love, love the dress.
