Gemma Arterton also stepped out for the 2011 British Independent Film Awards in London last night.
The British actress opted to wear a simple Stella McCartney Resort 2012 peplum dress.
Her black strapless dress might be a tad boring to some of you, but I love how she styled this basic dress to give her look plenty of sex appeal.
Sexy black and nude strappy sandals, a Stella McCartney dotted clutch and bold red lips heat up her red carpet look.
You can buy Gemma’s Stella McCartney dress from
Net-A-Porter US and Net-A-Porter International.

I don’t think it’s boring, but it’s way too simple for an awards event. This dress asks for something other than just red lips.
Yes, there’s lack of great accessories and at least one piece of jewelry.
I think she looks best in these simpler looks rather than when she tries to go edgy.
Not bad really, simple and sexy, but I`m not ecxited about it on her at all as it`s a tad aging for her – it`s too “mature sexy” as opposed to a “young woman of her age” sexy.
I wouldn`t mind seeing it on someone like Kate Winslet.
+1. Well said.
The cut does nothing for her broad shoulders. She has a pretty face but nothing below is flattering her figure at all.
Simple and elegant. A pair of earrings would have completed the look.
I love this girl – so often it seems she’s trying to hide her sexy body in black leather pants and suit jackets, or her beautiful face under “edgy” makeup. It’s nice to see her in a look that isn’t so much “fashion” as it is simply to showcase her beauty.
