Dita von Teese’s risqué Tadashi Shoji gown was the clear winner for best dressed this week.
The burlesque star added her signature red lipstick, 1940’s Marcel waves and diamond drop earrings to complete her sultry look..
In the wrong hands this gown could’ve headed down to Tackyville, USA, but Dita oozes elegance and sophistication every time she hits the red carpet and this was no exception.
You will not be surprised that Iman was my favourite this week.
The maths was quite simple.
One of my favourite diva’s + a Zac Posen Spring 2012 gown = red carpet perfection.

Hi there FC I am from the Philippines and I am a fan of your blog. Ever since I come across your blog 2 years ago I was absolutely hooked and because of my sheer inability to control myself not to visit your website at least 5 times a day to have some updates of the recent ‘glamorama’ going on the haute world, I was compelled to write MY VERY FIRST COMMENT ( I was just an admirer but I have never had a comment ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!) I want to thank you soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much for the breath of fresh air that you manage to create by this single blog that had been a huge influence on my outlook about fashion.. keep up the good work and ore years to come for this blog and ESPECIALLY TO YOU ……………….
adela of the php
WOW, what an amazing first comment.
Thank you so much xxx
Dita got my vote. Iman was also a favorite of mine. Looks like christmas! But FC, have you seen Sonam Kapoor in Gucci at the Gucci India event and in Prabal Gurung at the bash for Tom Cruise? Hope you have a good weekend!
A feast for the eyes! Two deserving beauties.
So true what you said about Dita oozing elegance every time she hits the red carpet.
Haha, you do love Iman
My vote went to Iman, I thought she looked so beautiful, no way I could vote for anyone else. Dita of course looks amazing too.
For the first time ever I really don’t like either of these looks–I understand why others do, but neither of these women looks real to me. Funny. But, like others, I do love this blog. Thaniks, FC!
Iman was just pure perfection loved her.
I had a rough time trying to choose between these two beauties but my vote went to Dita. I knew you would pick Iman FC
both are worthy winners. I would love to see more of Iman on the red carpet
How could I not
Those two were the cream of the crop this past week. xoxo.
FC I can ALWAYS pick the Critic’s Choice (it’s usually the same as my BDOTW vote) I love your taste. FC, I’m begging you this time, Mrs. O wore a GORGEOUS blue Vera Wang gown to the Kennedy Centers Honours last night and I NEED you to put her on your website
It’s your favourite colour so I’m homing you’ll love it as much as I do!
Hi Rory,
That’s great to know
I will try to feature Mrs O when I find better pictures.
Charlize was robbed. Her look was more unique and she pulled it off so effortlessly.
