Taylor Swift has been honoured yet again for her country music, this time at the CMT Artists of the Year 2011 event at Nashville, Tennessee.
Red has always been a great colour for Taylor. The 2010 CMA Awards and the 2009 Academy of Country Music Awards proved that.
On this occasion she opted for the rich hue again wearing this striking Porcelain strapless corset dress with pleated skirt.
Gold shimmering Christian Louboutin pumps, diamond-encrusted earrings and gold ring by Lorraine Schwartz completed her look.
Taylor’s look wouldn’t be complete without a wavy updo and that perfect red pout.

You are not alone. She does look very pretty, but really not exciting. It would be nice if she skipped that style of eyeliner and tried a different lip colour once in a while.

I totally agree. This may be a very typical look for Taylor but the fact remains that it’s a beautiful dress and I love a red dress especially in December!! Make up is beautiful too… I guess if the only thing we can fault her on is her predictability then she’s not doing that bad. Thumbs up!

Needs a thin belt, the dress doesn`t really look good on her – would`ve liked a smaller waist and fuller bust. Her constant sparkly/shimmering shoe choice is annoying and unnecesary, a major let down pretty much every time.

Urgh, I take back what I said about her last time about babysteps. This could have been a look form any moment of thelast 3/4 years. Statement lips, winged yeliner, curly/wavy side bun, knocked kneed hadn on hip pose, smirking facial expression, same goddamn silhouette. It NEVER EVER changes.
I agree. Really boring. I don’t think it’s worth mentioning.
I know a lot of people are bored by her, but I feel like she’s just one of those people who aren’t interested in making a big, edgy statement with fashion- which doesn’t necessarily bother me. If I was helping a friend pick a hairstyle or type of dress for a formal event, I would look to someone like Taylor Swift before I’d suggest a look worn by someone like, say, Chloe Sevigny. There’s a time, place, and person for everything is my thought. Ditto for Fan Bingbing and her Ellie Saab or Jennifer Aniston and her seldom-changing coif.

I completely agree with you. Not everyone wants to make a statement every time they walk a red carpet. She’s obviously not that interested in the arty side of fashion, and I don’t think it’s boring, she just wants to look nice. Which to be fair to her, she always does.
