Camille Miceli also attended the Dior pop-up shop on Tuesday evening in Miami.
Dior’s Creative Director of Accessories wore a black-and-white flared skirt from the Christian Dior Fall 2011 Couture collection.
Unlike Mathilde Meyer, Camille successfully transitioned the couture look to the red carpet by extracting one standout piece and styling accordingly.
Rather than wear the head-to-toe runway couture look, Camille paired the print skirt with a simple black tank and a major statement necklace.
This look could be improved with simple black sandals, as the thick ankle straps on Camille’s Alaia shoes paired with the knee-length skirt make her legs a bit stumpy.
Do you prefer Camille’s simple black-and-white look, or the dramatic effect of the couture runway?

i actually love this version of the look
even though simpler sandals would have been better, i like the idea of black sandals and i love that she went for the necklace
missing make up / pink lips
I’m in love with this look, so much more than the runway version!
The ankle strap is too severe but I like everything else.
+1
Qutie wonderful. Would have been happier with a lighter black shoe.
I prefer this to the runway.
Her Sandals are ALAIA.
On the runway, it looks tacky, on Camille, it looks chic.
I can’t even believe it’s a DIOR COUTURE creation…
thanks you x
Def. prefer Camille`s adjusted look but it`s not done that well – the thick-strap shoes are def.an overkill, fighting with the bulky necklace for the attention. Wish she`d chosen a more complementary statement necklace (preferably with some detail to complement the colour of her clutch as it sort of comes out of nowhere) as opposed to awkwardly overpowering.
I actually like the dramatic effect of the couture runway look sans the hat.
what a bummer. with different shoes this would have been perfect.
the necklace is amazing
better than the runway
I love that she’s made this her own and I prefer it to the runway look. The only thing I challenege is the shoes… I love the pop of color with the clutch. I would have loved to have seen that tie back into the make up as well but that necklace and simple top was an inspired choice. It works so well it looks like it’s actually a dress.
I hate the choice of shoes but I like the rest of the outfit. I like the runway version, too, but it’s nice that she kept it simple. However, I would have loved to see someone wear the runway sandals – they’re gorgeous!
WoofWoof….who let the dogs out?
Not a fan of this. I think the accessories are too much.
the runway look is so artful and dramatic.love love love it !
