Andrea Riseborough In Marchesa – BAFTA Los Angeles 2011 Britannia Awards

Andrea Riseborough was one of the many Brits abroad attending the BAFTA Los Angeles 2011 Britannia Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in California last night.

She wore a Marchesa Spring 2012 dress.

My first thought was that Andrea’s version of this dress was a bridal dress, but it doesn’t appear on the bridal page of Marchesa’s site.

Therefore it’s just a cleaner, simpler modified version of the runway dress which we’ve seen on Michelle Monaghan.

The dress is more ethereal without the embroidered details and the sheer yoke. Andrea most definitely made the better choice.

She solidifies her status as a Hollywood starlet by wearing Brian Atwood pumps in metallic silver.

Yet another gorgeous, chic updo, diamond studded earrings, a matching bracelet and a grey snakeskin clutch complete her look.

My girl crush grows with every red carpet appearance. She’s so graceful.

I’m not a fan of Andrea’s style in general, she does not impress me the way other newcomers do (say, Felicity Jones or Lizzie Olsen), but this look is worse than ever! This whole Marchesa collection is such a fail to me, a parade of ugly dresses.

This. Well, I actually can’t think of any of Andrea’s previous outings, so that probably says something. But I agree with you completely on Marchesa. I don’t like it in general – it’s usually too fussy for me – but this last collection is foul.

I am a Marchesa fan but I agree that this collection was not the best. I do really like the dress Amber is wearing and how it has been modified though. I think she looks lovely

i love her hair and makeup, but the dress is too too much. It should have only the top or the bottom ruffle, but not both.

Dear FC I just have as much girl crush on her! As I said before she isn’t quite well-known in the States yet, but I love every one of her red carpet appearances! She is so graceful.

BORING. I don’t like the two ruffles, only one was necessary but her version is just a generic white dress, there’s nothing special to it and I’m sorry but her face is not interesting enough to do her make up so plain. The shoes are terrible too.

Beautiful elegant profile shot, mesmerizing to me, but I do dislike the dress, it doesn’t make any sense at all.

The dress looked so pretty on the runway. I don’t like how she modified at all and I don’t think its fits her body type.
