Zoe Kravitz opted for something softer and more romantic to her usual edgy/boho looks we are used to seeing on the red carpet at the 2011 UNICEF Snowflake Ball which took place at Cipriani 42nd Wall Street in New York City last night.
As a Chanel front-row regular, it’s not a surprise to see her wearing this Chanel Fall 2011 gown.
Her black and white gown features a beautifully dramatic skirt and a sculptured top.
Zoe doesn’t let her petite frame get the better of her; she stands tall and commands your attention in this look.
It’s refreshing to see a different side to her.
One can only wear so much Alexander Wang before it becomes too predictable.
Blunt bangs, a simple bun and a rouge lip shade completed her look.

Who Was Your Best Dressed On Day 8 of Cannes Film Festival 2013?
How to Achieve the Classic Blowout

I like it, but the hairstyle could have been better.
I agree. I love the dress, but her hair is just sad.
The dress is nice enough, but I really dislike the hair, and the makeup is not her finest.
I still don’t understand all the fuss about her.
Very cute–wish it were shorter on her like it is on the model
I like the gown, it’s different. Wish she wore the belt.
On the other hand why can’t her hair ever look good? There are too many great hairstylists in NYC for her hair to look like a country girl walking in the mall.
Seriously, why does she insist on maintaing that god awful haircut? I’ve always found it just hideous beyond words. She’d look so much better if she grew out the bangs and maybe bought a comb.
Amen. Hair is so, so awful.
Her bangs are always the problem. She looks like a mental patient who cuts her own hair with safety scissors…sadly, she probably drops most people’s montly rent to look that terrible.
The first time I liked her look since… ever.
I still think she has to do something with those bangs.
The silly hair aside, not liking the gown on her and even less on the model.
+1 completely.
I love ostrich feathers but this looks like something form the car wash.
I love the pretty angelic looks from this snowflake ball. Very cute.
I realyl like the dress, but not on her. Her attitude and overall style is too punky for it. The gown should have looked elegant, femenine and light. Also, the hair is just tragic, seriously tragic.
I like this look on her. I have to agree about the hair comments. Whether it’s the long messy weave she used to wear or this cut, her hair never looks right.
Fix the hair! I get the look she’s going for but she looks like a 5 year old who’s taken the scissors to her fringe.
I think this is one of her best looks. I think she pulls everything off quite well.
I find it interesting that the Chanel stylists didnt have the model’s sleeves flipped up on the runway to show the black detail, because you can clearly see its there. I like that she did away with the belt and that the skirt grazes the floor. I’m struggling to understand why she is all over the red carpet all of a sudden.
I STRONGLY dislike her hair… she’s such a pretty girl and that cut simply does her no justice!
I like this longer version better than the runway version and I like the dress on her. it is a different designer (other than Alexander Wang) and style for her and it looks great. Not the greatest hair though.
I seriously don’t get this dress.
