Vera Farmiga made up a trio of winter whites to hit the red carpet last night.
The actress, who we haven’t seen on the red carpet in a while, wore a beautiful Naeem Khan Spring 2012 dress to the 2011 UNICEF Snowflake Ball in New York City.
Her dress has a beautiful embroidered top with gold appliqués and is cinched at the waist with a beaded waistband. Her tiered ruffled asymmetrical skirt provided a spirited flamenco flourish.
However, her hairstyle is so aging.
This is such a shame because I love the look which she accessorized with a beaded ivory clutch, amethyst stone earrings and matching necklace, which is very similar to the necklace beloved by Anna Wintour.

I think the styling works for her – it’s classic, feminine and beautiful.
BDOTW for me. I love Naeem Khan.
Ugh. I like the bodice of the dress, but it doesn’t go with the skirt. Her hairstyle IS aging and her makeup is not flattering. She is a very pretty woman with a nice figure. She should be wearing much simpler dresses with cleaner lines and have someone get her hair off her face so you can see those gorgeous eyes.
The dress is gorgeous, although I could’ve done without the necklace.
The hair is limp…flaccid (insert other boring adjective)
I think she looks great.
She looks stunning! And it was a torrential downpour in NY last night so not her fault her hair wasn’t at its best.
I agree with FC. This is a great, refreshing look, but the hairstyle is so matronly.
such a beautiful and different kind of unique dress
Hate the hair but love everything else.
Loving it on the model – so refreshing, while on Vera it does turn into something old and frumpy thanks to her hair and necklace.
+1.
Shes too busty. There is an inch between the waistband and her bust…it kills the balance.
good point.
I agree about the hairstylebut there is something 20′s/30′s about the silhouette adn the overall skirt and top that I get why she would do that with her hair. I also sw the photo on getty of her with Zoe Kravitz and she looked amazing from the side.
I think she looks great.
Too matronly for me.
This is a gorgeous dress and Vera looks lovely in it. I agree with you FC her hair do is very aging. Personally I don’t love the necklace but it isn’t bad.
She looks stunning! I can get past the hair for sure, this styling is impeccable.
