Sarah Jessica Parker In Louis Vuitton – 8th Annual UNICEF Snowflake Ball

Sarah Jessica Parker attended the 2011 UNICEF Snowflake Ball which took place at Cipriani 42nd Wall Street in New York City last night.

The actress wore a Louis Vuitton Spring 2012 dress.

Her sea-green and ivory ostrich-feathered and sequin-embroidered confection with a silk satin sleeveless crop top perfectly played up to the snowflake theme of the night.

Some of you may say that once again she’s dressing too young for her age, but I think this look was made for SJP.

It’s fun, fashion-forward, cute and doesn’t require black pumps; instead she teamed her look with Louis Vuitton ‘Merry Go Round’ pumps.

I’m not, however, fond of her darker locks which she showcased at this event.

Bring back the blonde.

BDOTW for me, this is the most refreshing look i’ve seen in forever. no nude pumps, brian atwoods, daffodils. no herve leger, no body-con and no ombre hair!

Her styling is truly heinous as of late. I don’t understand it. The bottom half of the dress is magnificent, but the rest is just a hot mess.

This is amazing on her!! I love it. I don’t mind her hair colour -(I loved her darker hair in the SATC movie) but I don’t like her do here

I never understood the big hoo-ha over SJP’s style. It seems that over the last couple of years that her red carpet style is a hot mess. Too fussy, especially for someone petite.

Totally agree with you – This look was made for her and I prefer her as a blonde

when i saw the picture i thought, it made for her. you are right FC.

The creasing on the top is killing me. I also cannot stand the hair, I didn’tlike it in the SATC movie, and I like it less now.
The dress, however, is very her. Few people can pull of a silhouete like this and a big feathered skirt, but sh edefinitely can, it is one of ehr niches, IMO.
I really do have such a desire, though, to burn the shoes.

she looks amazing! and I don’t get why people hate white pumps. She wears them so well. BDOTW contender plz

Ugly dress from an ugly collection. Very unflattering, also.

love it, definetely love the darker hair on her.

I adore SJP, and I especially love this. Not everyone could pull this off, but she looks amazing. Definitely BDOTW worthy for sure. Agree about the hair though, as she looks so much better as a blonde

love it ! SJPesque look at its best, fashionable and fun. only SJP can wear dresses like this without looking ridiculous. like her new hair color

  13. Thirteen November 30, 2011 at 14:23 #

WHY is she wearing this look! I hate her style, she is not Carrie Bradshaw and doesn’t pull of any of these high fashion looks she’s do fond of. This would look a million times better on almost anyone else. UGH.

  15. Felicia November 30, 2011 at 13:48 #

I like L-O-V-E this!!!!! I agree, it was totally made for her! I just love how SJP can pull off things that other people would look atrocious in….

I love this look on her! BDOTW, i think! She looks amazing and I think that her confidence in looks like this just makes her look even better!

  17. alex November 30, 2011 at 13:16 #

    LOVE this!

  18. Jacqu November 30, 2011 at 13:15 #

Ugh! NO NO NO on the shoes! A nice interesting silver strappy sandal would’ve been perfect! The eye looks wonky, the hair looks messy and I’m not sold on whether she’s pulling off this look.

Which makes me wonder who could? (I’m thinking Keira or Kiki but since I love the both, I’m not impartial :P)

I love it. Perfection from head to toe. I actually like it when she goes darker, brown compliments her skin and eyes so much better.

      BDOTW contender.

    • dee November 30, 2011 at 13:50 #

      I agree.

    • Rebecca Z November 30, 2011 at 15:57 #

I agree too–this dress was made for her, and I like the shoes as their density echoes the top of the dress. Adorable–60’s chic. Her hair reminds me of Joan Shrimpton.

    • maria November 30, 2011 at 18:08 #

      i also agree. Beautiful.

      • Mol December 1, 2011 at 05:19 #

Totally agree, I love her darker hair, she’s not so washed out, it’s all working here for me.
