Penelope Cruz returned to the red carpet this weekend whilst attending the 20th Torino Film Festival’s opening ceremony in Turin, Italy.
The actress appears to have aged about 30 years since the last time we saw her.
It doesn’t have much to do with her L’Wren Scott black wool dress, but rather her drab styling and her new haircut – the darker colour isn’t doing her any favours either.
Whoever styled her hair needs to seriously reconsider their career options as it looks like Penelope is sporting a comb-over.

The only thing I like are her shoes but she looks lifeless.
I think the hair looks quite bad for a red carpet, even if I like the dark color. I think that the outfit is a bit too “sober”, maybe the dress is too long, and the sheer tights don’t help… Definitely not a red carpet look, maybe a photocall’s outfit.

Everytime I see her looking sooo bad I remember her “Broken Embraces” promo tour. Good old times…
I don’t mind the darker hair but the styling of it is terrible, also the black dress/dark tights/black shoes and dark hair is a depressing combination.
I don´t like this look, but I prefer her in this darker hair colour, more natural.

Lovely shoes, work perfectly with the dress and the sheer tights, nice hem and length, it`s the tightness of the dress in the bust and stomach area that doesn`t flatter her figure. Awful hair, agree, unflattering makeup and the overall darkness of the look are rather off-putting.
LOL @ “aged about 30 years.” So did she look like she was 5 last time we saw her? Or is this what 60 is supposed to look like these days? Definitely a drab look but I think it makes her look boring, not elderly.
Such a bad look. It is probbly the heels, colour nd matronly length but it looks like what I would imagine madame Fidolia to wear, but much less glamorous. The hair is bordering on labour hair.

Personally, I don’t dislike the hair colour. But everything else here is tragic: the hair-styling, the dress, the tights, the shoes. Everything looks old and sad.
The lack of styling makes her look like a young widow. Puzzling.
Maybe this would look better if she were scowling.

I love the new hair colour! She does look somber, though, but she has a beautiful smile.
The more I see this picture, the more it grows on me. It’s hard to see the details on black dresses, but when look closely I can see the dress fits well and is quite nice. Her hair and makeup are really natural and she looks pretty happy. I think she looks pretty.
