I was very excited to see Victoria Beckham making her way to LAX en route to London this weekend.
That’s because she’s attending the British Fashion Awards which takes place in London tonight, which I am also attending as a guest of River Island.
The mother of four has truly mastered high heels and carrying a baby, because she can now do it one handed.
Harper looked adorable in a striped dress, while mummy wore a sleeveless plaid shirt with a Peter Pan collar tucked into a knee skirt with those taupe suede Christian Louboutin ‘Vicky Boota’ boots many of you objected to the last time she wore them.
My first thought that this was designed by Carven because of the Peter Pan collar, but that is not the case.
She is actually wearing Prada.
The British Fashion Awards has nominated Victoria in the Designer Brand category alongside Burberry, Stella McCartney and Tom Ford and for the Red Carpet Award she’s up against Antonio Berardi and Stella McCartney.

I’m the first to stick up for her about using her daughter as an accessory, but this whole look does not help her case. There’s something very, “hand in the pocket, IT handbag on the other” about it. I don’t like it. It’s almost like NET-A-PORTER would be receiving their shipments of Victoria Beckham handbaby next week.. I hope I’m wrong. She looks great though and the boots look much better here.
i dont know since when it is a sin to have pictures posted with your child. anything but does she use her child as an accessory. i hope more celebs could be such cool moms. if she was a normal person this wouldve been so kewl. please get a life and be realistic.

OMG! I think that she looks fierce! I don’t understand why people have a problem with her holding her baby. Even though she is a fashion icon, and photographed a lot, she is still a mom!!! I mean seriously, are you trying to say that if you were a celebrity you just would not hold your baby? I walked through the mall looking fierce with my child. I hope no one thought what you were thinking. She’s living her life and being photographed, she can’t help that.

I dont like that she’s ‘wearing’ her daughter like an accessory. She’s never cute and caring with her, she’s carrying like an It bag.
I really loved this until I saw the boots. I think these are the ones she wore these with the blue dress of her own design which I loved but I really don’t like them here.

I wish the skirt was a pencil skirt but you can’t get everything you want. Love the top and Harper looks cuter than ever aww.
I love the blouse, skirt and the boots! The only thing is the skirt has a massive centre pleat at the back which I think is not practical and looks odd. There’s a shift, I hope, into proper dressing with collars and tailoring which is just fantastic.
She’s a mother of 4 and I think she knows how to carry a baby (even if it’s like holding a bag).

I quite agree, but carrying a baby with one hand and the other in the pocket… We all know that she lives on high heels, but she shouldn’t do it anyway.
For a moment, it looked like a young girl is carrying a doll.
It really looks like that. I don’t want to say that she’s carrying her like an accessory but it looks like she’s holding a pretty doll.

its jus bcos its vb, tats y theres always bound to be some negative comments… come on… how many parents have we seen carrying their kids with one arm… n walkin with heels or flats or watever… its common… tat being said… she does look fab… a nice break from dresses…
i agree 100% they gave her way to much credit. atleast she is walking how many celebs did they show looking like they are running with they kids from the paparazzi

Aweh, so adorable! Apparently little Harper is wearing Chloe. It seriously doesn’t get any cuter.
I think Victoria and Rachel Zoe should let their little kids hang out together – they’d be the cutest celebrity baby couple ever!
Those boots are not right here to me, although I loved them with the 100 dress last time. There are arguments towards her way of carrying Harper these days, but I still believe VB is a great mother.

Carrying her baby with her hand in her pocket aside…. VB looks amazing. I love the new length of skirt she’s working with and the super high boots. Waved hair is gorgeous too. It’s very reminiscent of the 70′s but everything is very sharp and polished. That baby is just too darling for words too.

Doesn’t that collar have pointed tips? As I understand it the name ‘Peter Pan Collar’ refers to those with a rounded edge.
Just wanted to say that her blouse and her cream skirt (which comes with the belt) are from Prada and are both sold in Prada stores right now.
