At the Victoria Beckham Spring 2012 press day, I was really glad I got to see the mainline collection up close because there were many commercial pieces on display which we didn’t see on the runway.
The dresses, which I’m sure we will see on many celebs, were mostly signature fitted dresses in bright summery colours.
These dresses didn’t have the same edgy downtown feel as the runway collection, so the ladies who lunch uptown will still have a wide range of dresses to choose from when this collection goes on sale.
There were also loose fitted, cocoon shaped dresses in fruity lemon, refreshing aqua blue colour. I also saw a white dress with a printed hemline and pockets (above), plus a similar style dress in the runway orange and navy colours.

I also saw simple gowns with signature exposed zippers and a range of light-weight coats with 3/4 length sleeves.

Victoria Beckham’s denim collection will be expanding into sporty apparel. I loved the mix of colours on the colour-block and striped pieces.
This collection is perfect for the gym or as lounge wear.
Rachel Bilson and Kate Bosworth who enjoy sun 365 days of the year in California will love this collection.

LOVE This Collection <3
they look simple and cool, thanks .
At this point I wonder if there’s anything this woman can’t do. I am officially in love with her.
Dying here. I LOVE her dresses. Id be happy to wear one everyday. Brainless chic….shoes and your good to go.
The commercial line feels more 60s, less sporty from the runway.
I think Victoria should offer Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge a look at this collection. Their husbands are friends after all.
Wow this is hands down her BEST collection to date! Its simply in a different league, and so smart of her to start giving retailers options that were not only presented on the runway, that is what big brands do, and what the core of the business is all about. SO clearly she is savvy enough, not surprised about that!
Thanks for the great report photos.
My pleasure
is vary nice, i love it
i like the style…simple and still sexy …
