Salma Hayek In YSL Edition Soir – ‘Puss In Boots’ Paris Premiere

Salma Hayek was in France on Sunday night for the ‘Puss in Boots’ Paris premiere.

The actress wore Yves Saint Laurent from head to toe, pairing a dress from the Edition Soir 2011 collection with the YSL Tribtoo platform pumps in black patent leather.

The black taffeta and velvet dress is a perfect choice for the fun, kid-centered event, while front pockets give a modern and edgy touch.

Loose curls and natural makeup completed the look.

Another pair of boring black pumps. The dress is so cute and fun why not wear a interesting shoes to go with it.

+1. The dress looks great on her.

+1. The shoe choice is unforgivable. Love the dress.

It reminds me of a Prom Dress!

It looks a bit like a costume from a kids play to me.
    Shoes are sad.

Dear FC, thanks for keeping track of all Salma’s ‘Puss in Boots’ premiere looks? Could we maybe have a poll on all those looks?

this is the longest promotional tour ever

agreed. The movie must be terrible or they have a big budget

      • TeaAtTwo November 22, 2011 at 23:29 #

        probably both. lol.

Would feel a lot quicker and more enjoyable if she served up some Knock-out looks (I don’t mean her pushing out her girls).

If this was Rosie’s run it would have been outstanding

Kind of infantile for such a curvy body. Looks like a naughty Little Bo Peep in a really bad way.

Sorry but it looks cheap to me..

Really sweet dress that balances out her shape nicely. It’s very girly but I think it’s event appropriate. I’m not loving the hair and the shoes are not the best choice but this is one of the better fitting dresses I’ve seen on her.

      Agreed on all counts.

No boobs on display…yay. It’s trashy when she shoves the twins in our faces. This is demure.

IMO, nothing really works : old fashioned hairdo + whitish undereye make up + maid style dress too tight on the chest aera + platform pumps that shortens her legs

Over-promoting a movie is not a good thing, 6-7 premieres is OK for a big “blockbuster” movie (2 cities/continent), this machine has been in every country on the planet!!
And Salma’s red carpet style has been like the worst rollercoaster, unfortunately I can’t think of one good look, I just remember a LOT of let down appearances..
