Lady Gaga made a big (literally) entrance as she arrived at Barneys New York last night for the grand opening of the ‘Gaga’s Workshop’ Holiday Windows.
The singer wore a Chanel dress made especially for her by Karl Lagerfeld.
Her white tweed dress with black trims was accessorized with Chanel pearls, camellias and bows.
As her skirt has an asymmetrical hemline, you can see that the singer is wearing black and gold studded platforms to give this look a signature Gaga touch.
I love the headpiece. It’s the perfect mix of Chanel elegance and Gaga craziness.
Trademark shades and red lippie completed her ribbon-cutting look.

The volume of the skirt looks too exaggerated. I would like it to still be puffy but to make her silhouette longer.
Hah I love it. She looks completely event appropriate.
I agree. I think this is an amazing look and perfect for the opening. There is a certain element of restraint here for Gaga (given that there isn’t much exposed flesh at all) but the elements of drama and kitsch that are her trademark still shine through. And that dress is FLAWLESSLY made. This is a BDOTW contender for me. Love it.
+1 minus the BDOTW. It was perfect for this event.
She’s everywhere but she’s working dresses, suits, pants, gowns, bold colors, neutrals, keeping it varied, so I’m not mad at her. She’s turned down the volume recently just enough for me to “hear” her instead of just covering my ears. And she’s having a ball, apparently attending one in Wonderland with Alice, lol. LOVE the white tweed.
A+.. totally agree w/ everything
the dress looks more suited to deborah kerr in “the king and i” far too costumey.
great!
Love it too. The second pic is great where the exagerated shape of the skirt makes it appear she is floating along. I like the fairytale/whimsical look of it. It sort of reminds me of something you’d see in a Tim Burton movie.
She looks like a living Chanel doll! I love the headpiece, too. Great look considering the event.
I feel like something is wrong with the dress.. But the fact that it`s a customized Chanel, I`d wear anything that Lagerfeld designs for me. God, I could only wish.
+1 I would also wear anything that Lagerfeld designs for me. Customised Chanel sounds like the most beautiful impossibility in my world. Gaga is one lucky lady.
I actually like this look. It is great for the event.
I love that Chanel went Gaga rather than Gaga went Chanel.
great point and you’re so right
this is a bdotw contender for me
Love it! Absolutelly great total look!!!!!!
