Recently I attended the BPCM press preview in London where I got to see many Spring 2012 clothes, shoes, bags and accessories up close.

I was really excited to see Zoe Saldana’s Jason Wu dress up close. The floral dress has a beautiful black beaded collar.

Two Jason Wu Spring 2012 bags were on display. A lime-green snakeskin clutch and a blue shoulder bag, both with silver hardware.

Current/Elliott are going floral, polka dot and colourful for Spring 2012. I expect to see many of these jeans and shorts on the likes of Kate Bosworth, Rachel Bilson and Jessica Alba very soon.

Another designer on display was Derek Lam who has opted for colourful prints for spring. What we didn’t see on the back of Kirsten Dunst’s BDOTW-winning dress was a beautiful crochet detail.

Raoul had a large selection on display. I noticed Rebecca Romijn’s Good Day LA dress amongst the colourful collection of laser-cut leather dresses, shoes and bags. The pops of orange sorbet and bubblegum really caught my eye.

Other designers included Tory Burch, Helmut Lang, Kooples, Joie and a new brand I hadn’t heard of before, Paper London who do a selection of beautiful colour-block pieces.
