Andrea Riseborough attended the premiere of her new film ‘Resistance’ held at the Curzon Mayfair in London on Sunday evening.
The actress wore a red Andrew Gn shift dress, paired with black pumps and simple hoop earrings.
The December 2011 cover star of Harper’s Bazaar looks sophisticated in the knee-length dress with classic Andrew Gn lantern sleeve detailing.
Severe hairstyling and unispiring shoes, however, age the actress.
Loose waves and lengthening nude heels may have helped.

Agree FC, about 30 years. Wish is were shorter too.
actually she` s already 30
I think Debbi means the styling has aged her 30 years of her actual age
LOL… isn’t it a bit too much? I don’t know… her face is so fresh… I agree that she could choose more interesting shoes. The dress is very cute, she has a lovely face, really.
Thanks FC, that was my thought. If she’s 30, she looks 60.
Maybe she was dressing like her character would in the movie. i agree, this is not her most flattering look.
I agree. The shoes and hairstyle make this cute dress boring.
boring.
i totally agree. a few inches of the seam and nicer shoes and this would have been a great look.
I actually like the updo and the makeup. She has a fresh face.
+1 (I’m a fan of these severe hairstyles). I think some dramatic shoes that reflect/compliment the volume of sleeves was needed.
Blah, blah, blah. The length of the skirt, the neckline and the awful sleeve (both style and length) make this a big old mess.
I like the length of the dress but I agree, this is one of those cases when a nude shoe would actually have worked and the softer hair would have given this some va va voom! I would possibly even have opted for a red lip and perhaps a skinny belt .. although the dress fits her body beautifully and shows off her waist even without a belt.
She certainly is lovely.
The dress is quite nice.
Is it nap time yet?
