Nicole Richie unveiled her ‘House of Harlow 1960′ holiday pop-up shop on Saturday night at Fred Segal in West Hollywood, California.
Nicole wore a Halston Spring 2011 two-tone sequined dress, paired with a red House of Harlow clutch.
When this dressed-up boho dress first hit the runway, our immediate thoughts were “Nicole Richie or Kate Hudson”, and Nicole did not let our designer daydreams down.
The cut and style is a perfect match for Nicole.
House of Harlow 1960 statement jewelry completed her look.

She looks beautiful, loving the accessories and the lip color.
gorgeous. I always like her more during the day than on the red carpet.
Not liking this much – the dress looks shapelessly bulky on her, the shoes are overly heavy, and the necklaces seem excessive. Love the red cluch that perfectly complements a few “blood stains” on the dress.
Chic. Head to toe.
I like it a lot but I prefer the runway dress.
the dress is not less red, its made up of double sided sequins, with one side red and the other platinum……so you can play with it for hours and create patterns in your own dress.
I never considering the double sided thing, that’s cool and makes me like the dress a lot more
Ah you’re right! I have a top with double sided sequins in black and silver, I love to play with it.
I like it on the runway, but it seems her version is missing a little bit of the red detail. I guess that’s a production issue. It doesn’t really drape as well as it does on the model. Seems too big on her. Is she pregnant? It seems in her last few appearances she has looked distinctly pregnant to me, including this one. Has there been an announcement and I missed it?
i saw this dress in a online store and according to the site, the dress in covered with two tone sequines, and u can put the sequin in te color u want it, so if u pass u hand over her dress and turn the sewuins is gonna become red or silver,
Really don’t like this weird gathering in the front. Just looks like the dress is trapped in her bra. I don’t find this flattering, though her hair and makeup are.
I think she looks gorgeous!
I love the dress, but not the accessories, except the cute clutch. Too much bracelets and necklaces, and too heavy shoes.
Nicole looks great in thie dress!!
A darker shoe would be nice. Otherwise it’s a nice look, and the two-tone sequins are cool (as some other commenters reported).
The dress looks like a blood bath.
Wow.. you really do have to double take to make sure it’s Nicole and Kate!
I really want to love this because Nicole is so beautiful but I’m not loving the dress as much as I do on the runway. It could just be the angle Nicole is on but it doesn’t have as much shape and I really love the amount of red coming through on the runway. I do love Nicoles hair and make up though and her cute purse.
You were right, this is perfect on her.
Good but the shoes are too chunky. So 2010
amazing dress, bad shoe choice though
Beautiful. Looks like it was made for her. I really liked that Halston collection.
