Charlize Theron attended a screening of her new film ‘Young Adult’ at the Tribeca Grand Screening Room in New York City on Friday night.
The actress and Dior Beauty spokeswoman wore a Christian Dior Pre-Fall 2011 mini dress which she paired with nude sandals and gold bangles.
The Dior dress, with a sheer neckline, modified lace panel and pleated details, is completely charming, but the rest of the look could’ve been more inspiring.
Nude sandals are always a safe bet, but this dress is an ideal blank canvas for that perfect pair of shoes that don’t match anything.
I’m sure Charlize has a pair or two of those lying around.
Note to Char: now is the time to make us all jealous of your shoe closet.

This look is so bleh! Uninteresting and uninspired! Such a let down
Yes, really. The shoes are nonsense. Why???
Meh. And it pains me to say that. Love me some Chalize!
Boring.
i agree with the other posters. Very boring and uninspired. She only gets away with it because she has 6ft long legs.
She should have kept it more like the runway or somethng. It’s so flat and uninteresting like this.
Seems too plain. The dress is too short for her, and the shoes don`t work with it at all.
I don’t have a problem with the shoes I have a problem with the dress. It is doing nothing for her.
It’s so boring to be a Dior Spokewoman right now. Everything is so meh!!!!
Can’t she wear some Dior by Galliano designs because, this new Dior is not dreamy at all!
Fyi, this actually is a design by John Galliano !
I agree–boring and doesn’t fit her well.
In all fairness the comment about the making us envious with the shoe closet could go out to pretty much anyone else, equally if not, probably, more so than Charlize.
I find this look a bit underwhelming, because we all know she can do a LOT better than this, but, still, it’s a really cute look. For me, there was no need to modify the dress, it wouldn’t be too daring, and she sure could have worn a more impressive pair of shoes. However, I love the nude sandals she wore, anyway!
You guys call it boring, I call it simple sophistication and pure class done like a real movie star. Grace Kelly or Audrey Hepburn could have worn something like this. This kind of look is timeless and classy and perfect for a classic beauty like Charlize.
Couldn’t agree more. I call it flawless.
boring.she lost her sparkl, don’t know way,but latly she is so boring.
love it , simple and classy !
I don’t mind this, I like the simplicity and she looks lovely but I agree that a cool and funky pair of heels would have been great here.
Charlize is on the cover of Vogue December. How come you didn’t cover that?
I have been extremely busy over the past few weeks so many events have happened I’m not sure you if you have noticed that.
