Lads’ mag favourite Minka Kelly attended the GQ 2011 Men of the Year Awards, which were held at the Chateau Marmont in LA last night.
The ‘Charlie’s Angels’ actress is the first celeb to give us a look at the Versus Spring 2012 collection on the red carpet.
I don’t think this sports-inspired dress is quite right for the event but it’s a cute look for Minka, who usually sticks to the same sheath dress red carpet formula.
I wish Minka had opted for the runway heels because the simple (most definitely Brian Atwood) pumps that disappear into the black carpet are too boring for this fun, youthful look.
A ponytail would’ve also perfected this look.

+1. What Minka is lacking here, Leighton would have totally brought to the carpet in spades.
I adore the dress, but it is way too casual for this event. The shoes are also very dull, even if they blend into the black carpet.
