Kerry Washington joined a whole host of beautiful celebrities who attended the GQ 2011 Men of the Year Awards, which were held at the Chateau Marmont in LA last night.
The actress wore a Prabal Gurung Resort 2012 dress. One of many stars to favour this colourful collection.
Her shortened ¾ length sleeve dress is covered with a band of red, silver and black sequins.
With that in mind, Kerry opted for minimal accessories.
Like everyone else at this event, Kerry wore simple black heels.
Shoe designers everywhere are weeping right now.

I like it a lot, but I LOVE it on the model, the length and those AMAZING shoes! We’re all weeping a little right now…
totally agree. if you have to keep the accessories minimal to let the dress shine, you only have another focal point, i.e. the shoes. Make it count.
The shoes are a snore but overall I like this look. It’s easy while still being sexy and cute.
Just because it’s a black carpet doesn’t mean that it is acceptable to wear black shoes.

This is a great look, but that’s all.
I honestly don’t understand what is wrong with celebs. At first I thought it was just about the height that’s why celebs wore these plain beige/black platform pumps but there are plenty of more diverse and interesting super high heels there so I don’t get it…
Goodness the model looks scary thin. Anyway Kerry looks beautiful here but the pumps are booooooring.

Not liking the dress on her at all – it`s too short, and hanging on her like an oversized sequined shirt, and the shoes are a major let down.
Agreed, on the model it looks good but on Kerry it’s just a big shirt…whitout pants.
The dress looks great on her. As a lover of shoes, I don’t get the boring black and nude pumps either.
