Tilda Swinton wasn’t the only one wearing Haider Ackermann at the 2011 Marie Claire Prix de la Moda Awards, which were held at the French Embassy in Madrid, Spain last night.
Elisa Sednaoui: The model and Chanel muse oozed sophistication wearing a Haider Ackermann Spring 2012 ensemble. The aqua scarf-like top was paired with olive satin pants. The natural beauty opted for no accessories and barely there makeup, yet she’s still looks outstanding.
Laura Ponte: The Spanish model looked super chic wearing a tri-colour Haider Ackermann Spring 2012 ensemble. I love the mix of colours and how she carries off this look with so much elegance. A gold clutch and black pumps completed her look.

They both carry the looks very well, an easy careless elegance. I totally thought the second pic was Dexter’s sister Deb from the show Dexter!
Elisa looks lovely, I really like this ensemble on her, glad she went for barely there makeup/no accessories, the simple relaxed approach is perfect for this ensemble.
Not liking Laura`s look at all, her droopy crotch pants are so incredibly ugly and unflattering, they should disappear altogether. Not a fan of this darker colors palette on her either.
+1 completely.

+ 2. I hate drop crotch pants, so unflattering and man-repeller, I would say.

OMG you knowwwwww how a woman in Haider gets me good! WOWWWWW. They both look amazing (not that I know who either of them are!!!)
This makes me want to be a woman!
I’m torn between the all-glamour of the Elie Saab crew and the refined sophistication of the Haider Ackermann gang of who I adore more.
Both of them look stunning, but Elisa’s my favourite.
i love Laura Ponte’s look. Being a sucker for purple, the sumptuous and rich shades on the outfit make me very happy.
Elisa is my BDOTW. The colors are amazing and the fit is even better than the model’s.

Mmmmm, swooning for the rich colors. I love the full length wide-legged pants.
This is one of the best dressed events of the year. Easily. I adore Elsa Sednaoui’s look, with her hair, makeup (or lack thereof) and skin tone is literaly making me drool.
I just saw Miranda Makaroff, maybe not…..
I love Elisa Sednaoui’s outfit!
I think Haider Ackermann looks are between the most difficoult ones to pull off. Usually, they only seem to suit tall women with a slender/androgynus figure.
These two women here also have a lot of class, so they look great. The only thing I don’t like is Laura Ponte’s pants crotch.
First on is AMAZING. drop dead gorgeous

Elisa Sednaoui looks better than any other star. I would call her best dressed of the year. The color combination is just stunning and she makes it look better than the model.
So cool you posted Laura Ponte!
I’m not spanish but I know Laura’s style and it’s one of the best I’ve known! Absolutely edgy and elegant. Amazing accessories. Unique and flawless styling!
I was hoping Elisa would be in the BDOTW poll … she and Nikki in MK were my favorites this week (and in my top faves of the year too! : )
These outfits are sumptuous. The fabrics are incredible and the color combinations divine! I adore both looks on AND off the runway! Two thumbs up!
Elisa looks better than Tilda did in my opinion…
