Elizabeth Olsen continues to prove that she’s not only a rising star on the big screen but also on the red carpet.
She oozed charm and sophistication whilst attending the Museum Of Modern Art 4th Annual Film Benefit, ‘A Tribute To Pedro Almodovar’, in New York City last night.
The actress wore a Chanel Fall 2009 Couture dress.
Her dress has an asymmetrical hemline and red satin lining is complemented by her waistband which is accented with silver detail.
I’m loving those retro waves, which seem to be a continuing trend on the red carpet.
Elizabeth accessorized with toe-cap Chanel pumps, Chanel fine jewlery and a satin clutch.
I’m glad she didn’t add red lips to this look which would’ve been overkill; instead she opted for a neutral nude colour.

While overall she looks fine, I do find this look to be a bit “mature” and aging on her.
She’s young and I wish there was a little more fun.
don’t like the dress. the high waist makes her look matronly, plus the red asymmetrical hemline reminds me of superman
+1
+2. i cannot handle the red lining and the pointed hemline. No to mullet dresses.
+3!!!
I agree, it’s very unflattering for her. I don’t mind the pointed hemline, but the detail of the waistband is quite cheap and “old”. I don’t know why she choose clothes that age her so much, since she looks older than her own age.
This is one of the best she’s ever looked. BDOTW worthy, in my opinion.
STUNNING ! One of her best.
The waistband being so high up kind of kills it for me. It makes her look thicker than she is.
Yes, that’s what get me too.
+1
Seriously, it’s right under her boobs. That placement is unflattering on everyone
I’d prefer this on the anorexic Olsen.
Wooooooow what a classless comment. Shame on you.
+1 completely.
wow, her sister really out of her league.
elizabeth without try hard can make this simple dress interesting.
she’s definitely one to watch.
She looks beautiful, but I am not a fan of the dress. Love the look from the back on the model, but in front it looks like a dress for a business lunch–then you notice the “train”. She is a great young actress, however.
I am pained to say this, but I am to loving her style. I adores her at cannes, but I don’t think she has foudnher style yet. This dress somehow looks contrived, cheap, and also too mature and still too juvenile for her. The shoes are terrible, but hte rest is good. Teh dress just really doesn’t flatter her and clearly isn’t her style. The 2 chanel looks she’s worn so far are amongst me least favourite of her looks, for the fit more than anything. Also, I think she is trying to wear clothes that are more smart than she is, th emore relaxed her clothes are the better she looks.
another teen girl on design clothes… whats new?
except she’s 22, not a teen
Not pulling it off – she doesn`t have the right body or attitude for this kind of dress.
I just love this look!! ..She fits right in with the attitude and definitely pulled it off!! She has that young Blake Lively vibe going on.. Still looking for her style but in the right direction!!! LOVING THIS!!!
I think the dress is a bit unflattering on her.. she seems very likable but i haven’t been blown away yet with any of her red carpet looks..
Makes her look shapeless…
This dress does nothing for her. It makes her look matronly and the cut on her is just way too severe. Not a winner.
