After travelling to New York with Harper Beckham, Victoria Beckham attended the 2011 WWD Apparel & Retail CEO Summit at the Plaza Hotel yesterday evening.
The designer – not surprisingly – is the first to wear a look from her Spring 2012 collection.
Her navy and black colour-block strapless dress was teamed with the same Christian Louboutin pumps with a leather leg-piece from the runway.
You would be forgiven if you thought she was wearing leather boots with a cut-out detail, but you can see from the close-up runway pictures below that the leather leg-piece clips at the back of the Louboutin pumps.
Wavy locks, nude glossy lips and kohl-rimmed eyes completed VB’s look.
I hope that now Queen B has worn a look from this collection, many more looks will follow on the red carpet.

Perfect look from head to toe, only she has that edge (its in her attitude, if she was grinning like crazy this would NOT work)to pull off the leg warmers over the shoes, it looks brilliant. And what is going on lately, she looks so stunning!
The dress could have been designed by one of her kids… I don’t like the shoes with that leg-piece with the dress. Nothing interesting, nothing special.

This is a perfect example of a time I don’t like her style. It just looks overdone, she looks angry and her hair looks messy and greasy – this is not flattering.
I love how split how the commenters are! That is pretty much me..on the fence about this look.
I just hope seeing herself in this will make her realize this was not one of her better or best works and motivate her to do a better job next time.(didn’t find a single edgy dress in that collections. Was surprised you found favourites)

I dont think she looks skinny at all, i think this is the most fit that i have ever looked of her. Look at her curves and arms and i think this is the best she looked for a while.
