Devon Aoki attended the 2011 MOCA Art Gala in LA on Saturday evening.
The model-turned-actress wore a navy one-shoulder Giorgio Armani Fall 2011 gown with sequined bodice, front and back cut outs and a silk satin skirt.
Devon’s take on the gown appeared much more subdued than the version that walked the runway, with a distinctly smaller stomach cutout, and the removal of the large shoulder adornment.
We’re partial to the couture look of the runway version, but Devon looks gorgeous, regardless. A slick bun, red lips and statement earring complete the look.

i love everything about this look. thou it ages her a bit
Very pretty, I don’t mind the cutout being smaller but I wish she had kept the should piece.
Very beautiful and elegant. I love navy, great color. With other earrings it would be perfect (I think hers are quite ugly), but I would consider her for BDOTW.
There isnt enough of her on the red carpet. I love this dress and I dont mind that the front key hole is smaller than the runway version.
I’ve always loved her unique beauty. To me she can practically work anything on her. That has made her one extraordinary model. Love to see her more on the red carpet.
+1
+2.
Wow! Stunning! BDOTW worthy for me, definitely. She looks so statuesque…
okay look. but the modifications take away from the stunningness of the gown. I would have preferred the larger cutout (she has the body afterall) and the shoulder piece.
Love love love! perfectly styled!
Beautiful, the modifications done right, bdotw worthy.
Beautiful !
I adore this lok. She always loks graceful, interesting and whenever I have read or heard an interview or something like taht with her she sounds so lovely. I cannot believe that she had a baby 5 months ago!
Didn’t Julianne Moore where this dress when she was promoting “The Kids Are Alright”?
i think so. I will double check.
she wore the version without embellishments

Oh wow she is so chic and elegant here. I haven’t seen her on the carpet in a very long time. This whole look is simply divine.
