Dasha Zhukova was also present at the 2011 MOCA Gala in LA on Saturday evening.
The Russian philanthropist, entrepreneur, fashion designer and magazine editor looked stunning wearing an Azzedine Alaïa Fall 2011 Couture gown.
She selected this gown in rose pink which gave her a radiant glow.
Her scalloped gown with a tiered ruffled skirt was teamed with a gold clutch and a silver cocktail ring.
It’s rare to see Dasha wear makeup, but for this special occasion she opted for kohl-rimmed eyes and pretty pink lips.
Slightly back-combed hair completed her look.

amazing dress, but the hair and makeup look unpolished to me, so i cannot give it a BDOTW nomination.
+1. Its killer in black.
+1
It is fabulous on the model in black. Putting the two pics together just makes me feel okay about it in the blush. For me the fit seems off too, maybe too long in the torso.
Love the color of the dress. But her looks messy.
i meant her hair looks messy
BDOTW? Not with that hair.
I’m not a huge fan of the dress in nude to begin with but her hair just kills everything. It looks so greasy/unwashed, especially at the roots.
+1
+2
Exactly, the hair is hideous. It’s such a beautiful, elegant dress, and she has paired it with gym hair.
I’m really not into the hair. It looks very stringy at the ends.
Not working for me. The gown falls flat on her, the dramatic feel of it is lost on her entirely, the colour washes her out, and the “slightly combed” unwashed looking hair ruins it completely.
WOW what a gorgeous dress. I’m in love. I wish she had put more effort into her hair and makeup but wow this dress looks fantastic on her.
The hair’s a mess. Not worth for BDOTW.
The hair is flat out disrespectful with such an amazing dress. MAJOR FAIL
lol at your comment. the hair is what I keep going back to, poor execution.
Dead @ flat out disrespectful. So true though.
HAHA. disrespectful = perfect word to use. but seriously. this dress deserves more.
This is the epitome of effortless chic. PLEASE put this up for BDOTW!!!
Yes, please do! This is effortless, feminine elegance. All in all a lovely effect. BDOTW worthy for sure.
+1! the hair doesn’t bother me at all! she carries it off so well!
I agree, BDOTW. Effortless chic.
Great!! Can you post on Miroslava Duma????
I love the classic way Azzedine Alaia works. Dasha looks a little washed out. The black version looks knock out stunning.
the dress is great…..the grooming + mixing of metals is not.
The hair does not look messy to me? I love this look. Far superior to the Amy Adams look which FC already put forth for BDOTW in my opinion!
i love it all! def. BDOTW… the hair, makeup, dress and color- love!
How chic is this. I think the hair adds to the beauty of the look, its a careful mess. Love it!!
YES!!
How effortless chic she looks. BDOTW imo.
Agree the hair really lets her down on this one, very limp. Worse than Nicole Kidman last week, at least she attempted to do something with her mane.
BDOTW! BDOTW!
Definitely BDOTW-worthy!
Scraggly hair and poor make-up just make her look washed out and rushed. And the color of the dress doesn’t help either. The black would have been a better choice, but it doesn’t matter with the hair and make-up looking so tragic.
YES! BDOTW!
I actually prefer the pink dress to the black one but the hair and make up makes it impossible for me to see this as BDOTW worthy.
The color detracts a lot from the impact of the dress.
Like everyone else i think the dress is perfection but her hair and make-up ruined the look (in my opinion)
Maybe if she pulled her hair back or an up-do would complement the dress
I like the color of the dress !!!
BDOTW!
The dress has a completely different vibe in pink – while I think that a stricter hairstyle suits the black version, the pink one demands something much more flowing and romantic and as such, I think the hair fits the dress superbly.
While most likely not my choice for the BDOTW, it still deserves a nod on Friday.
That dress is …. sublimely beautiful.
such a difficult dress to look good in it
I actually think that the hair and the makeup, along with the drop waist, give this a very 60s vibe. Yes, the hair could be a tad bit more voluminous, but I see it as a modern take on the 60s. BDOTW for me, yes.
Yes, yes, yes.
Definitely BDOTW for me, even with the hair.
BDOTW with this hair? Never.
