Amy Adams attended the LA premiere for ‘The Muppets’ on Saturday afternoon.
The red-haired actress is the first to wear a look from the Roland Mouret Spring 2012 collection.
This typically chic two-tone Roland Mouret ‘Herbert’ frock has a red sleek pencil skirt, accented with a black waistband and an ivory top half which has taupe straps and an off-the-shoulder detail.
Her alluring dress was teamed with simple nude Jimmy Choo ‘Anouk’ pumps and statement earrings.
Soft wavy curls and flawless neutral make-up make this a BDOTW contender in my eyes.
She can do the chic modern thing equally as well as the princess thing.

What a FANTASTIC dress!! Roland Mouret knows how to dress a lady. Amy is working this dress like CRAZY. This is definitely BDOTW worthy…even if it is only Monday.
Love this. The fit is perfection
I don’t like this look at all, the dress looks like an high-end version of a bavarian costume… In spite of this, hair and makeup are flawless and she’s so pretty.
Oktoberfest – that’s what I thought when I saw this dress.
Agree completely FC. Love this!
(though I liked the bow too) Amy looks fabulous.
Agree… I like the bow as well. She looks divine though, dare I say even better than the runway! Wonderful. BDOTW
Whoa, she sure can! And after a couple of zipper misfires, it’s nice to see the master Mouret handle a zipper.
She looks amazing! BDOTW contender for sure!
Stunning! I love this looks, flattering, weareable, chic… BDOTW contender for sure.
totally agree
def a bdotw contender! she looks great.
She looks great and her figure looks amazing in the dress.
I absolutely looove this! Flawless hair & makeup, the perfect nude shoe. And she is working that zipper!
Definitely BDOTW contender.
I agree, BDOTW contender!
She always looks classy.
Maybe, for once, I would have preferred black shoes, but still…amazing look!
Gorgeous! BDOTW contender for sure
i love the fit of this dress, she looks stunning.
the only thing that bothers me a bit are the straps. they look like exposed bra straps (especially from the back). Maybe if they had been the same colour as the top…
My reaction too. Especially from the back the taupe straps and off-the-shoulder sleeve look like a too big top with exposed bra straps. Eliminating the straps would be a big improvement. Otherwise, Amy looks as terrific as always.
Perfection, she’s so lovely.
Love this dress.
When I saw this on runway I wasn’t sure if I like it or not, now after seeing it on the red carpet I’m still not sure. But I do think it looks better on model.
she looks like a modern-chic-princess!
love this look!
What a dress!! Flattering and so well designed. Great fit on amy accenting her best features. I wouldn’t see this as BDOTW but certainly a good look.
this dress says german bar wench in oktoberfest!
Bdotw for sure!!
This is one of my favorite dress from Roland Mouret Spring 2012 collection! Amy worked it well!
I’m actually looking forward to see celebrities wear the collection from Zac Posen Spring 2012
Victoria Beckham dresses looks sooo Roland Mouret!!
This was one of my favorite dresses from fashion week! Im so happy that someone as graceful as Amy wore it.
I cannot find a single flaw. BDOTW for sure.
She looks hot!!
She looks gorgeous! Simple looks yet very adorable. I really love the color especially the Jimmy Choo nude pump.
FLAWLESS !
This is it! She wins! It’s flawless.
She looks amazing!!
