Zoe Saldana attended the 2011 Latin Grammy Awards in Las Vegas, Nevada tonight.
Elie Saab dresses are like buses, you wait forever for one and then two come along at once.
Ironically they are both green.
The ‘Colombiana’ actress opted for a Kelly green fully sequined crew neck cap sleeve gown from Elie Saab’s Spring 2012 collection.
The gown is accented with a thin belt but unlike Mrs Martin, Zoe opted not to overwhelm her dazzler with jewels. She simply added a bronze Bottega Veneta clutch.
I knew it would take something special to get Zoe out of her red carpet mini funk, and it had to be the King.
Long live the King.

Even more ironically they came out one after the other at the runway show. She looks amazing, it is styled to perfection, she is regaining her glow. I prefer Zoe’s look to Gwyneths.

I don’t know if you were able to mentally Photoshop out Gwyneth’s necklace but that’s the only thing I could look at (and I was not admiring it) so Zoe is my green goddess. Miss Paltrow’s dress is stunning though… if the necklace wasn’t so large I could’ve probably overlooked it and she would’ve been my green goddess. Maybe I would prefer Gwyneth’s dress if I’d seen it before Zoe’s… this is hard.
Zoe for sure. This was one of my three favorite dresses from the collection and I pictured it on Zoe. It is so smart and chic. She looks fabulous.
Zoe is super chic, I love this look so much it’s easy to choose it over Gwyneth’s.

The dress is beyond stunning..
And while I think you need someone with more curves to work it completely, this still looks gorgeous.
Zoe a thousand times more, she just lets the dress breathe and drape and do its thing, no distractions, just beautiful shiny hair, and her coloring is so perfect with this color too.
Oh how I LOVE Eli Saab!! This dress is amazing, simply stunning. Zoe looks beautiful and the bronze clutch is such a nice touch. As much as I loved Gwyneth’s dress, its my favoutie and she looked absolutely amazing but because of the necklace I am going to have to pick Zoe as the best look.

I like both but I prefer Zoe’s dress, because it’s very chic, and it doesn’t scream “look at me!!” I usually dislike green, but this dress is so beautiful, for some reason it reminds me Angelina’s Versace gown, even if they’re quite different.
Zoe wins all the way for me. I like the dress itself much more, and I prefer the simpler approach to the styling, with no stand-out accessories like that totally out of place chocker Gwyneth wore.

I have been waiting sooooooo long for those gorgeous colors to show up on the red carpet that I welcome ALL the goddesses that dare to showcase these bold dresses!!! I love this look. This is something I would wear and most likely style it in similar way. Simply fabulous!

Zoe ftw. Gwyneth’s necklace committed an assault on that glittering gem of a dress. Could just be my family background but my favorite colors are purple, green and gold, Mardi Gras colors in New Orleans. When I see Zoe in this dress, I just want to party, lol.
Purrfection! Zoe’s dress is a little quieter than Gwyneth’s (for green sequins)! but she knocks it out of the park with gorgeous hair and makeup. BDOTW contender for sure.

This reminds me of Angie’s green Oscar dress. Zoe looks boring to me actually because she doesn’t really have pizazz or spunk. She looks put together and all, but there isn’t that “spark” if you will….
Zoe looks gorgeous, that’s for sure, but although I didn’t like Gwyneth’s necklace with that gown, I prefer her gown, as its colour is more vibrant and sparkly and as a result, much more impressive for me.
After blue, green is just my favorite color…. and coming from Saab it just gives me goosebumps, she looks FANTASTIC!
