Carrie Underwood hosted the 2011 CMA Awards at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, last night.
I wasn’t crazy about her BMI Awards look, but she sparkles on the red carpet wearing a Reem Acra Spring 2012 gown.
Her gold ombre cap-sleeve gown with a portrait neck is more like it from the country singer.
Those embroidered details are quite spectacular.
The golden girl accessorized with a satin clutch and gold Johnathon Arndt jewels including dangling earrings and a bangle.
Bronze eye shadow with shimmering pink cheeks and lips gave her a radiant glow.
Soft wavy hair completed her look.

Definitely better than the last look. She just bores me – the dress looks so much more dynamic and interesting on the model than it does on her. Her lipstick is also bothering me; it seems too light, maybe?
I’m not so rapt about this one. I think it looks better on a brunette. In the long shot she looks a bit like Kim Cattrall!

Agreed… loving this on the runway but pretty as Carrie is this is a very aging look on her for some reason. Not loving it.

Everything works but the hair. It always so pageant-ish.
Too much of a sparkle overload for my liking, the chunk of gold that she`s holding in her hand is very distracting.
