The last time we saw Taylor Swift she went sans sequins, but that all changed at the 59th Annual BMI Awards in Nashville, Tennessee, last night.
The young country singer wore an Emilio Pucci mini dress which was fully covered in sequins.
I never met a sequin I didn’t love, myself, so I have to say I love this dress, especially because of the colourful print.
The long-sleeved dress was teamed with black Nicholas Kirkwood peep-toes and a Swarovski dark indigo crystal Allegro clutch.
No bold lip colour on this occasion. Taylor opted for a subtle dark pink shade.
Side-swept tumbling curls completed her look.

Ahhhhhh tired!! And I don’t like this print that much.. that lighter colour, I don’t know.. not my taste. What I do always love is her hair and make up!
i like the dress and the styling, but i wish the shoes would be more exciting. They needed to elevate the look. These ones don’t.
I love the lip colour on her, much more than her usual red.

She looks good, better and less cutesy than usual, but still ‘blah’. I still feel like she needs to wear at least one thing that she hasn’t already done pretty much the same before. I can’t even be bothered to reiterate what I said on the last few Taylor Swift posts, because she doesn’t seem to ever change, so I will say that at least it isn’t a nude/pink colour, her lips are a slightly different hue, and the silhouette has changed slightly. That’s all.
Well, at least she didn’t go for the princess look yet again. She looks good, if a bit boring.

love the dress, but she always looks like a barbie doll. i would love to see her do something drastic with her hair, maybe going shorter and edgier.

Chiming in to agree – and I think this dress is a comparatively intriguing choice for Taylor. She’s successfully established a consistent feminine aesthetic for herself : she’s not fashionably eclectic, and doesn’t need to be.
I love the dress and the earrings are to die for. I wish that she had her hair straight and pulled back into a low bun, but I really like this. Very nice. The shoes are deep purple, btw.
Wait, those shoes are deep purple? I think I’m going to upgrade my like to love. This is a rather sophisticated color combination of accessories for an unusually patterned dress. Very, very nice.

I like it. She’s poised on the RC, her hair is never unkempt, her makeup is usually on point, and she owns her height. BTW, those earrings look interesting but I can’t figure out what they are made of.

Although this is classic Taylor Swift and I would normally find it boring, I actually really like it.
While there is nothing earth shattering about this look, I actually really like it. I am loving the dress and I like her makeup and hair as well. Overall, very pretty!
