Lea Michele strutted down the red carpet at Glamour’s 2011 Women of the Year Awards that took place last night at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
While the ‘Glee’ star usually looks like she is trying too hard to look fashionable, this time around she sparkled in a champagne-coloured Jenny Packham gown.
The blush pink v-front gown was adorned with crystal floral appliqués and sequin details.
Since the design was already so shiny, Lea skipped any statement gems and opted for two Tiffany rings – one on each hand.
A bold red lip colour prevented her look from being too princessy.
A Jimmy Choo clutch, loose waves and rosy cheeks provided the finishing touches.

She looks amazing and like you said FC she doesn’t look like she is trying too hard or trying to make a statement. This look is perfect for the event and perfect for her and the lip colour is fabulous!! BDOTW contender for sure

Agreed. Great comeback after quite a few disappoinments. Love the dress and color and i really like that she kept her hair soft and opted for that pop of color on her lips. Beautifully done.

I’m so not a huge fan of her, but for once her posing is not so overt, and even though I am sure she is trying so hard and if I search I will probably find painful amounts of ‘sexy face’, she looks genuinely nice. I wish certain other stars would see that whe you try to be edgy, the results are much better recieved.
That smile is her best accessory. Wish we could see it more on the red carpet!

This is a really nice look and like you said, she doesn’t seem to be trying too hard here. Maybe I would prefer it if her hair was less voluminous. It makes her head look very large compared to the rest of her body…
LOVE the dress Its absolutely beautiful the beading down the front is outstanding and really makes this dress glamorous. She looks beautiful but I wish she had an up-do to really make the dress pop.
