Freida Pinto In Antonio Berardi – ‘Immortals’ LA Premiere

Freida Pinto looked beautiful as she arrived on the red carpet for the ‘Immortals’ LA premiere which was held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live last night.

The Indian beauty looked about 6ft tall in her Antonio Berardi Spring 2012 gown.

Her blush gown has a lot going on, but it works.

Cut-out details accentuate the padded shoulders while the embroidered details on the bodice give the gown a beautiful armour-like feel, as does the satin panel on the skirt.

The gown couldn’t be more perfectly themed.

Her braided hair was twisted to a purposely messy bun to allow us full view of her breathtaking gown.

A Chopard bracelet, kohl-rimmed eyes, rosy cheeks and dark pink lips completed her look.

Yet another worthy BDOTW contender.

WOW!! She looks flawless. Smouldering! The dress balances her figure out beautifully and that color is divine against her skintone. Beautiful make up and this is the best braided do I’ve seen. BDOTW is going to be hard!!

She looks insane! This is probably on of the beast gowns of the year for me. So sexy without a lot of skin and the color is divine.

Yes, cant agree more. Class, Beauty, Elegance rolled into one!

This is an amazing look. For a moment I thought it was a Givenchy couture gown. Definitely BDOTW for sure, I went ‘wow’ when I first saw the pictures of this. She out dressed everyone at that premiere.

    • maria November 8, 2011 at 15:21 #

me too, i also thought it was Givenchy.

I love this dress for the occassion, as Fashion Critic said, very theme appropriate. She looks like she is wearing a shield.

  4. justme November 8, 2011 at 09:15 #

Finally a beautiful gown that flatters her figure! She looks divine.

  5. sarah November 8, 2011 at 11:21 #

she looks gorgeous..but i do feel that the dress is a tad too costumey

+1. Love it on the runway. It looks a little Star Trek on Frieda to me. It looks a bit like body armour on her, particularly through the middle.

You know BDOTW when you miss this blog for a few days and you scroll down the page and you see something and your eyes just POP open with delight. Edgy, beautiful, hard, soft, perfect fit. BDOTW!

From the waist down, this is amazing. I think the construction of the top is too severe for her – I don’t see ‘fierce,’ but ‘constricted’.

  8. roxana November 8, 2011 at 12:01 #

    very, very beautiful!

  9. Ben November 8, 2011 at 12:50 #

This is the first Antonio Berardi Spring 2011 piece I have really loved off the runway. BDOTW for sure!

  10. Raquel November 8, 2011 at 13:25 #

Sorry, but I don´t like it on her. Maybe in someone taller…

  11. TeaAtTwo November 8, 2011 at 13:27 #

She looks like a futuristic princess (in a good way).

    • TeaAtTwo November 8, 2011 at 13:37 #

Quite a lot Antonio Beradi’s SS 12 collection has been worn so far. I still would love to see look 32 given a run on the red carpet though.

  12. fromchi-town November 8, 2011 at 14:17 #

I love it – I think it is edgy and princessy at the same time. She looks gorgeous.

  13. mol November 8, 2011 at 14:35 #

One of my favorite looks from today (so far)….perfection.

  14. Gaber November 8, 2011 at 15:03 #

The satin skirt panel kills this for me.

  15. Emi November 8, 2011 at 15:08 #

For some reason there’s something I don’t like about the dress, maybe the bodice, but I love hair and make up.

    • dee November 8, 2011 at 15:27 #

I agree. Something isn’t quite working but it is almost there.

  16. mm November 8, 2011 at 15:26 #

This is my fav ever from Frieda

  17. Laura November 8, 2011 at 15:40 #

I like all of it except for around the waist. It makes her look bigger than she is. I still like the look, but I don’t love it.

  18. Amanda November 8, 2011 at 15:41 #

It looks amazing and so perfect for the occasion

  19. Alina November 8, 2011 at 15:49 #

    Stunning !

  20. Jess November 8, 2011 at 18:22 #

I want to love it as I adore the dress, but I’m not sure she has the height to pull it off . The satin part of the bodice looks ill-fitting and unflattering.

  21. Kiran November 8, 2011 at 18:56 #

Best she has ever looked. I literally said ‘oh my friggin god’ in my head as I looked at this. Stunning.

  22. LOVE! Finally not a generic draped gown we’ve seen a million times. I don’t mean on her but generally speaking. She looks amazing! BDOTW contender, definitely.
