Kate Hudson attended the 2011 LACMA Art and Film Gala event in LA this weekend, after keeping a low profile following the recent birth of her son Bingham.
She wore a one-of-a-kind Gucci dress.
Her gold fully sequined mini dress with a draped bodice and satin belt was teamed with Christian Louboutin bronze peep-toes with a matching clutch.
Trademark glossy waves and smoky eyes completed her look.
The size of the clutch totally ruins this look for me.

Agree about the clutch FC. Love the dress but not how if fits Kate…there is an awful lot of broad space between the top of the dress and her head.
She is adorable though and always makes me smile.
What is going on with her shoes? The shoe on her left foot looks like it is twice the size of her foot.
One of the ugliest clutch I’ve ever seen… The dress doesn’t even seem a Gucci dress. A miss, for me.

She is breastfeeding so probably needed a large enough clutch to hold her breast pump to use while away from baby (leakage on front of dress would be a far greater fashion sin than a too-large clutch!)

Adorable dress, love the bronze accessories with the gold, don`t mind the size of the clutch at all as there are no standout accessories. Lovely hair.

the clutch looks like one of these under $100 ones from a cheap store – so ugly!
it’s cute enough but i find the look fairly blah. Nude lipstick has it’s place, but for the most part ends up looking so dull if the rest of the face doesn’t have much pop to it. I love me some colorful lippy
Yeaah the fitting isn’t that great but it still looks lovely..but gold is her colour!
