Julia Ormond joined Michelle Williams on the red carpet last night for the 2011 AFI Fest premiere of ‘My Week With Marilyn’.
The actress becomes the second person to wear a look from the Yigal Azrouel Spring 2012 collection.
Her red wool tuxedo with cropped pants was paired with a nude silk top which she covered with gold necklaces.
Her other accessories included black ankle-strap peep-toes and a black buckle accent.
A chic side-sweeping updo and perfect pink lip colour completed her look.
I don’t think Julia needed all those necklaces. They seem to weigh down this simple chic look.

I like it.
That’s one screaming red suit. It’s okay, not blown away by it, but I don’t detest it either.
+1
I’m with you FC, it would have been so much chicer without the hardware.
I was wondering why I prefer the model’s look, especially since I much prefer Julia’s choice of shoes.
I suppose the necklaces are too much, but I think the biggest problem is that black clutch, which give the look a sort of officey vibe. Does anyone else find it annoying?
it’s an okay look. i am always happy to see something different on the red carpet, so that suit works for me.
The accessories could be more exciting, but nevertheless and okay look for me.
I love it, really. The necklaces don’t bother me at all.
That’s a whole lotta red. I don’t think its particularly flattering. I prefer her hair lighter. The whole thing looks harsh. Agree with Marybeth about the clutch.
I actually prefer this on Julia. I think she is wearing this well.
The added glamour feels very wrong here – the pretty gold necklaces and the chic updo don`t really work with the suit (while the clutch does). The ankle straps don`t work here for me either.
Not an easy look to wear but I think it works for her. I’m not sold on the black clutch either but I like the shoe choice. Could do without the jewelry as well but it’s a monir detail.
I really like the necklaces. She looks perfect.
