Felicity Jones continued to prove she’s most definitely one to watch on the red carpet whilst attended The Hollywood Reporter’s Annual Next Gen Reception at the Milk Studio’s in LA yesterday.
The beautiful Brit actress wore a Proenza Schouler Spring 2012 ensemble.
Usually Proneza Schouler is reserved for the likes of Kate Bosworth and Chloe Sevigny, so it’s very impressive that the newbie has scored this fresh-off-the-runway look.
Her beige striped top with a leather pocket detail and crochet black Peter Pan collar was teamed with an eel skin striped A-line skirt with oversized outer pockets.
Simple pumps, wispy bangs, kohl rimmed eyes and pink glossy lips completed her look.
I can’t wait to see more from her. She seems totally unfazed on the red carpet, which is a feeling I never got from fellow actress Brit Carey Mulligan in her early days.

Beautiful ! Looks like it was made for her.
Girl is beautiful, and a long way from The Archers!
LOVE. THIS. LOOK. And love the way she carries herself even more. She radiates ease and fearlessness. This girl is definitely one to watch.
+1 and barely breathing. Heaven!
Yeah, she looks like a pro.
I’ll take her over Kate Bosworth any day. Both in terms of talent and red carpet style and looks. Glad to see she’s getting much-deserved worldwide attention, though she’s been quite well known to British film&tv loving audiences for a while now. She does look really efortless and in her element in the spotlight, I’m sure we’ll get more great looks from her in future.
This!
She wears this striking ensemble with such nonchalance. And you’re so right, FC, she seems unfazed by the red carpet – neither trying too hard, nor overwhelmed. Definitely one to watch for on the style radar.
And speaking of style, I look forward to your next Style Spotlight. Have come across so many amazingly fashionable women that I probably never would have known if not for that feature… Love your work and your passion for fashion.
I’m due to do a Style Spotlight.
Thanks for reminding me
She’s looking fantastic. Felicity is definitely the one to watch on red carpet. She pulls off looks and designers who are not easy to wear on red carpet and she does that so effortlessly and beautifully. Not a hint of awkwardness and of trying too hard.
Seriously loving this! She looks effortlessly chic. Also looking forward to seeing more from her.
BDOTW. Effortless, stunning, impeccable.
Stunning, Her attitude and hair & make-up have totally rocked what could have been a frumpy look into a hot one.
Agreed! Her confidence and attitude doesn’t let the outfit overshadow her.
I don’t really like this look and it’s not really Felicity Jones’ fault. While the idea is quite interesting and she looks confident on the red carpet, that skirt destroys the whole outfit for me. These huge pockets look ugly and the material of the skirt doesn’t look good at all, it looks like it’s cheap. Had it been made of another, more conventional material, I would have probably liked it.
IA. that skirt looks like it smells and could combust spontaneously
I agree. It’s overtaking her in my opinion.
She looks amazing! Felicity is quickly turning into one of my favorites.
i agree with your post. Great outfit and styling, but also great attitude.
Haha, I love that comment about Carey. I love Carey though, but maybe Felicity is picking up things from Carey, the two are great friends. Together they form a very fashionable and talented trio with Keira Knightley.
I really, really like this, and i’m totally surprised that i do.
Totally adorable, and I love the shoes. The really complement the outfit without screaming for attention.
I want to like this, but I think the skirt is overwhelming her.
The plain pumps ruin the modern edgy feel of the look. The skirt shoud`ve been a bit shorter.
She should`ve borrowed Alexa`s black T-strap pumps
Felicity was so perfect as Catherine Moreland in Jane Austen’s Northanger Abbey! I shall never forget and I watch it over and over (hopeless romantic). Anyway, I am so thrilled to see her in magazines here in the States as well as the red carpet. Not sure about this look as it seems to overtake her more petite frame. Maybe I am used to seeing her in period frocks instead of modern ones ha! She is just lovely to look at nonetheless. She has this teethy pout I really find adorable.
Looks really good on her
BTW: Am I the only one here, but does the proenza schouler model not look like an exact copy of a young Sofia Coppola or what?
Love this look!!!!
Felicity looks great! She pulled this off brilliantly.
Cuteness!
