Best Dressed Of The Week – Zhang Ziyi in Christian Dior

There was only going to be one winner this week; Zhang Ziyi in Christian Dior with sparkling Swarovski jewels.

The Asian beauty made it a foregone conclusion the moment she stepped onto the red carpet at the ‘Love for Life’ Rome Film Festival premiere.

Whilst this gown was too princess-like for some, it was the very vision of perfection for the rest of us and a definitely contender for BDOTY.

Question FC, occasionally (very)! I miss a look or two, like this and Fan Bings. Is it possible when you do the BDOTW line up for us to be able to click on the look and be brought back to the original post? I always like to see the details and read yours and everyone else’s take… Thx!

That’s not possible as the poll is coded.

You can find them via the search

I don’t know. I think sometimes a dress can be so pretty that you simply need to stick to the basics to look gorgeous. I personally appreciate looks which involve a more active approach to dressing-up. Which is why I liked Naomi Watts’ look so much more- she took an outfit, and made it hers with her use of accessories. Zhang Ziyi simply wore a gorgeous dress. Extremely well-dressed she is, but where’s the individuality?

No doubt the dress is fantastic , and although I’m 32 am I’d love to see myself inside the dress, I understand those who think is too girlie. It’s something like “this is one of my first red carpets and I want to be Cindirella (I guess me too..)”. 😉
