Naomi Watts was shimmering very so brightly on the red carpet for the ‘J. Edgar’ premiere which kick started the 2011 AFI Fest Opening Night Gala at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre last night.
The actress looked breath-taking wearing a dress designed by her BFF, Stella McCartney.
Her silver sequin gown with a plunging neckline and thigh-high split makes her a perfect candidate for BDOTW, so it will no longer be a two clothes-horse race between Asian beauties, Zhang Ziyi and Fan Bingbing.
Naomi’s Giuseppe Zanotti strappy diamante accented sandals are not only perfectly complementary to her gown, but they are my favourite heels to tread the red carpet this week.
A long gold necklace, divalicious red lips and side-sweeping locks completed her look.
She knows she looks good which is why she’s working the hell out of this gown.
This is the first time I have been in total awe of Naomi.

Totally agreed. I think this is the best she’s ever looked. What a beautiful, sexy, and effortless look. Everything from her hair, makeup and accessories complement this beautiful gown. BDOTW will be tough!
it´s so weird, the dress is shapeless, and she looks stuning!! that´s happens when the dress give u the confidence enought to stand brave in front of all those ligts, kuddos for her!!
A-Greed
WOW !
+1!!
Gorgeous!
I share your awe F.C. – this is my favorite look of the week (unless you pull out another surprise I can’t resist!). The gown drapes beautifully on her and every detail supports the glamour of the overall look – bravo Naomi…
Me too! This is drop dead gorgeous!
Gorgeous look from head to toe. I definitely agree that it’s BDOTW-worthy.
BDOTW. She just looks so amazing. It helps that she’s got the right attitude to pull this off without looking like she’s trying too hard (unlike some people).
Sorry, does nothing for me…
Too shapeless and the necklace could have been better.
amazing. it’s weird because it should not work due to hanging down like a sack, but somehow the result is stunning.
Don’t get me wrong i love the hair, but it’s funny to me how it seems to be the only hairstyle the stylist can come up with recently.
Fabulous! She’s working the gown so it shows off not only her shape but also the cut of the design. Gorgeous look, love how effortless yet glamorous she looks and love the accessories.
Really honestly I love this look, bu the neckalce is all kinds of wrong for it. It realy just doesn’t make sense for me.
agreed, the necklace ruins it. other than that love it.
The look done to perfection, everything works here – hair, makeup, accessories, the slightly loose fit. Def. BDOTW worthy and the frontrunner for me.
She looks divine. Its a gorgeous look and I love her lip color.
She looks PERFECT!
I had forgotten that she is capable of making me look twice. I remember now, lol. BDOTW contender for sure.
I’m 25 and I’m in good shape but I find myself being tremendously jealous of the knock-off body of a 43 years old women. Life’s unfair! loll! She looks, stunning, so sexy, so confident. I’ve never seen her so beautiful before. WOW!
The first time, FC? She went through a fab spell last summer at Cannes. Remember her in Gucci Premiere? Stunning. I agree though that this too is stunning.
yep this is the first time for me
Seems like a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen.
Stunning!
beautiful!
