Amber Heard In Alessandra Rich – ‘The Rum Diary’ London Premiere

Amber Heard brought her hypnotic charm to a cold and wet night on the red carpet for ‘The Rum Diary’ London premiere.

The blonde bombshell looked outstanding wearing an Alessandra Rich Spring 2012 dress.

Her pale rose paillette column dress was kept very simple.

I’m glad she didn’t follow the model’s lead with the necktie, the belt and the fuchsia heels.

Amber just added nude patent Louboutin peep-toes, glossy lips and swept her hair up into a chic updo.

This is one of my favourite looks from her. She knows how to work a dress.

She’s following Scarlett Johansson’s lead and trying to build up her profile by putting together these bombshell looks. Looks stunning though.

Wow the dress is so much nicer on Amber than on the model!

    definitely BDOTW-worthy! she LOOKS AMAZING!!!

  6. Laura November 4, 2011 at 10:44 #

Damn she is hot. Agree the dress should be floor length, the shoes look like big clogs.

  7. Zee November 4, 2011 at 10:32 #

I think I found why I like the dresses Amber Heard wears, even if the dresses are not so beautiful- even on the runway: The beautiful, natural smile on her beautiful face does the trick for me.

she is smoking hot and she knows it,and nothing wrong with that in my book.and maybe Mr JD problems have something to do with his georgues co-star?

  9. Michelle November 4, 2011 at 08:40 #

She looks amazing BUT the shoes just dont work for me

  10. Stephanie November 4, 2011 at 08:23 #

Wow! She looks amazing and she certainly knows how to work a look!

  11. Gaber November 4, 2011 at 08:07 #

This look works from the chin up.
And because I feel the same way about how the model is working it (well, in the model’s case – it’s not even working from the chin up), it has to boil down to this being an insanely bad dress. I hate the colour, I hate the length, I hate the material and the cut also does absolutely nothing for me.
And that’ all before I get to the shoes.

Scarlet Johansson get our of that body !!! 🙂

Somewhere In the world Scarlett Johanson is looking at these pics and sobbing lol

She looks great. I would have liked to have seen a more evening gown worthy shoe but I don’t hate them either. I love the smile too 😉

  15. Liz November 4, 2011 at 01:39 #

She’s SO sexy!! Wow! The dress is great although I’m not too crazy about the bottom of it.

  16. Rebecca Z November 4, 2011 at 01:30 #

Don’t like the shoes, the length of the dress or her hair. She puts me off–seems pretty self-impressed

Agree. Even when she looks great, there’s something about her I don’t like.

Bdotw contender please, the fabric looks like liquid draped against her skin, fabulous!

    • maria November 4, 2011 at 15:22 #

totally. it’s just unbelievable. talking about fitting like a glove.

  19. Hisadora November 3, 2011 at 23:40 #

    Stunning. BDOTW contender…

I actually don’t like this lok. I thinkthe pose in the first photo is really awkward, and I don’t likethe length of the dress. I just think the whole shape and everythign of the dress works against hte pailette fabric and vice versa. I could, however, imagine that she looked amazing while there, but I expected a bit more, although, she is dressign up for a london premiere, so I wish other stars would take note.

The runway model cracks me up regarding how horrible she looks!!! LOL

  23. Mol November 3, 2011 at 22:54 #

Wow, such a body! She looks amazing…..but groan, the shoes, please stop already, all of you wearing the ‘clunk heavy’ hooves on the red carpet – enough!

  24. Ashley November 3, 2011 at 22:41 #

Yikes! I do not like the shoe choice 🙁 they “blah” the look for me. Something metallic, like the Michael Kors sandals Miranda Kerr just wore would have been perfection! X

  25. justme November 3, 2011 at 22:21 #

I wish the dress was longer because I don’t see what shoes really could have worked for me there. Maybe silver sandals? Idk.

  26. Lancel November 3, 2011 at 22:19 #

She is like the blonde version of Olivia Wilde.

  27. kat November 3, 2011 at 22:18 #

she looks stunning! she really looks like she is having fun.

  28. shaphalf November 3, 2011 at 21:47 #

Fabulous!!! She looks amazing. I don’t mind the heels at all. I don’t know how I’m going to choose between her, Zhang and Fan. They all looked fantastic this week.

  29. Parvati November 3, 2011 at 21:39 #

I want to love this look, but something puts me off. Of course, I’m glad she didn’t accessorize the look like the model, but then again, it feels too plain. Maybe a belt would have added something to the look, although I’m not sure if it would work. But it’s mostly the length of the dress along with the heavy heels that make me not really like the outfit.

    • Nat39 November 4, 2011 at 17:25 #

Agree completely. My 1st thought – the belt wouldn`t have hurt here at all, in fact, it would`ve worked really well, in my opinion, as the look seems too plain. The length/shoe combo is truly tragic, ruin the look completely.
So, I`m not going to give Amber any more passes based on how well she works a look (we all know how good she is at it).

  30. Moxie November 3, 2011 at 21:33 #

Really like it until you get to the bottom. Either she needed a more elegant/delicate shoe or the dress needed to be a little longer to cover those clunky shoes.

  32. robbie November 3, 2011 at 21:29 #

i love everything apart from the shoes, i wish she went for something more elegant and less heavy looking.

    • Emi November 4, 2011 at 08:46 #

My thought, exactly. I don’t understand the massive use of platform shoes, which I like, but when it’s a couple of cm. Those shoes ruined the outfit, for me.

      • Jones19 November 4, 2011 at 10:43 #

The shoes ruin it for me too. They just look so out of touch with the sleek, minimalistic gown.

    • Jen November 4, 2011 at 13:01 #

Yep. The shoes ruined it, followed by the length – why not just an inch or two longer? – and the sleeves.

    • Alina November 4, 2011 at 17:05 #

      I agree.
