Mother-to-be Beyonce Knowles is certainly not letting her pregnancy slow down her shoe game.
The R&B superstar was spotted heading out of her office building in midtown Manhattan to a waiting car in New York yesterday.
She was sporting a bright red jacket, an Alexander McQueen leopard and skull-print silk-chiffon scarf and jeans – but it’s her Alain Quilici heels which are most noteworthy.
The ‘Payson’ skate lace-up bootie is a cross between heels, ice-skates and wedges.
This unique design is quite typical of Alain Quilici’s fancy footwear.
I’ve become a huge fan of wedges recently, but I’m not sure about these ones.

Hmmm…just because you can put a shoe on a platform doesn’t mean you should. These are bizarre. I would like them without that platofrm–the heel is fun

On a side note, they sell a lot of “skatewear” lately.
They do remind me of the Lanvin shoes for fall and those did remind me of skates as well. I wonder how they feel to try on. I won’t be finding out. I don’t have enough money and I have fat feet.
I love those heels, I think she looks really gorgeous, she seems so happy. The hair is working for me for some reason but at the same time it’s a bit too Mama Tina-esque.
