Blake Lively In Dolce & Gabbana – Christian Louboutin’s Barney’s New York Cocktail Party

Blake Lively made a very long-awaited return to the red carpet last night as she attended Christian Louboutin’s cocktail party at Barneys New York.

She supported her BFF wearing a pair of his sexy ‘Pigalle’ multi-coloured snakeskin heels with a Dolce & Gabbana ensemble.

Her floral bustier was teamed with a black crochet skirt for this typically sexy Blake.

Whilst I’m glad to see she hasn’t lost her mojo in that respect, I’m not particularly crazy about the way she styled her hair.

Her hair is the very definition of ‘just got out of bed’.

I wish she’d at least run a comb over it before stepping out to this event.

Ugh too tight, she looks like a bit prostitutey..

    • GGGGGGGG November 2, 2011 at 14:40 #

She does look like a high fashion hooker. With a dress that tight, it should have been lengthened or something. Short + tight=Hooker. But I must have those shoes!!!

      • eimearoconnor November 2, 2011 at 16:36 #

I think the shoes make it even more hookery to be honest!! White. Crocodile Skin. Stilletto…. no.

    • Giuseppi Giraffe November 2, 2011 at 17:12 #

agreed. it looks like she got it at Frederick’s.

  2. The Dame November 2, 2011 at 10:28 #

You know I love this girl, shes young and sexy and never looks try hard in a world that is always forcing us to be something we are not. She just works it so naturally.

  3. Jacqu November 2, 2011 at 10:29 #

    Define: trashy

    • Emi November 2, 2011 at 11:35 #

100%, from head to toe, but let’s admit it, the dress is tacky and ugly.

      • Jacqu November 2, 2011 at 12:06 #

Agreed. Though she chose to wear it anyway. Anything to showcase her…questionable assets.

“Boobs Legsly” (copyright of the Fug Girls) is back after the post-scandal austerity! I love the shoes, just not with this outfit.

  5. Cara November 2, 2011 at 10:34 #

    i LOVE it
if i had that body id wear it in a second

    • Sharon November 2, 2011 at 19:10 #

If I had that body, I’d put something a whole lot classier on it.

  6. Martin November 2, 2011 at 10:44 #

Ugh, this looks so DATED! She looks like an early 90s supermodel. Sorry, make that an early 90s supermodel trying to live her past glories in 2011. Sorry to be so brutal Blake, but you look old, tacky and desperate. All the amazing stuff in Dolce’s Spring 2012 collection (note Felicity Jones a couple of weeks ago) and she comes out with this?

    • eimearoconnor November 2, 2011 at 11:14 #

Yes, 90’s and not in a cool Zoe Kravitz kind of way… WHY in gods name did she pick those shoes with the outfit…

    • Emi November 2, 2011 at 11:37 #

I agree with you, is she really 20something years old? She looks older than somebody like C. Diaz. And the hair… terrible…

  7. Jojo November 2, 2011 at 10:52 #

She has a killer body and smile. kinda like her.

  8. Vidhya November 2, 2011 at 10:55 #

    lovely shoes.. thats abt it..

  9. Lils November 2, 2011 at 11:05 #

    One word: vulgar

    • Carla November 3, 2011 at 15:28 #

      I agree!

  10. A November 2, 2011 at 11:06 #

Don’t really like the outfit, but I like the coat she wore over it. :)

  11. noo November 2, 2011 at 11:16 #

never mind how much i hate this lingerie. i always thought that if i was to ever attend a party for louboutin as a celebrity i would be given shoes my own size to wear!!!!!!!

  12. TeaAtTwo November 2, 2011 at 11:16 #

She looks cheap in that tacky ensemble.

  13. Jen November 2, 2011 at 11:19 #

Love the shoes and the top, but would love them more apart. The skirt, especially that crochet ruffle thing, sn’t doing it for me.

  14. CreoleLady November 2, 2011 at 11:23 #

One person’s sexy can be another’s tacky. From uncombed hair to size too big shoes, this is tacky to me. Have not missed her in the least.

  15. robbie November 2, 2011 at 11:46 #

she looks like a high class hooker.

the shoes are quite nice though.

    • Jacqu November 2, 2011 at 12:07 #

I would take high-class out of that statement. Agreed with the shoes.

  16. Henrique November 2, 2011 at 12:02 #

Not a fan of this look and I hate the hair but at least she’s back.

  17. Emalie November 2, 2011 at 12:43 #

If this is what she wears for her return to the red carpet she should have stayed home. The look is the definition of tacky. The shoes doesn’t match that ugly Dolce dress and the coat she wore to the event was mismatched as well.

Just beacuse you can get your hands on expensive stuff doesn’t mean you should throw it all together in one look!

    • Rebecca Z November 2, 2011 at 14:03 #

I agree with these comments. I like Blake, but think she looks pretty slutty here–unfortunate. The shoes are gorgeous. The outfit is tacky, the coat is kind of odd and not very flattering on her,in my opinion–I think the two tiers of ruching look kind of cheap. Not her finest hour.

    • maria November 2, 2011 at 15:45 #

the “dressing demurely because i am dating Leonardo DiCaprio” did not last long…….

      agree with all you said.

      • marie November 2, 2011 at 20:26 #

no, she didnt dress demurely because she was dating Leo..she did it because of the leaked nude pics..obviously she thinks everyone has forgotten about those pics by now, so she’s back to her “boobs legsly” ways

  18. dee November 2, 2011 at 12:58 #

    She looks cheap.

  19. DivaDebbi (Beauty & Fashion Blog) November 2, 2011 at 13:58 #

Ohhhhh this is the Dolce worn under that divine coat.
Good God. Looks like it comes from Forever 21. Awful.

  20. Jackie November 2, 2011 at 14:09 #

Too much sexy. Over done. If this isn’t what she looked like half the time, it would be okay but no… just no. I love the D&G bustier and skirt but for someone else and I also love the shoes, but not with the D&G get up. Her hair is just adding to the trashiness of it all.

  21. marie November 2, 2011 at 14:13 #

too bad her BFF doent know her shoe size

  22. Elaine2 November 2, 2011 at 14:48 #

    ewwww……..hate the dress.
the shoes look too big for her feet.

  23. The.Shoe.Freak November 2, 2011 at 14:50 #

The shoes look too big on her…

  24. Natalie November 2, 2011 at 16:29 #

horrible. too tight, the fit is terrible, the skirt is too short for someone her height, her hair is terrible, the dress and shoes don’t go together and that dress in the first place has me drawing question marks in the air. I don’t even know whether it’s dated or just ugly

  25. Jazz November 2, 2011 at 17:32 #

i like the dress..LOVE the shoes. she looks gorgeous

  26. b November 2, 2011 at 17:57 #

Sometimes I just feel really sorry for her. No matter how hard she tries to be high fashion, she always ends up looking cheap and trashy.

The dress itself is not bad. But together with the shoes and the hair, it’s just the epitome of tackiness

I’d better call my friends at Chanel and get their feedback

  27. Well someone’s back to her old tricks… I do have to defend her hair tho. I really don’t like when people suggest that someone ‘could have at least run a comb through it’. Her hair seems wavy, my hair is wavy. If I comb it, I look like Grace Coddington. Which is fine when you ARE Grace but not a good look on anyone else. There’s nothing wrong with natural hair. It’s not like she’s at the Oscars.

  28. Shauni212 November 2, 2011 at 20:48 #

    This just looks cheap…

  29. style server November 2, 2011 at 21:28 #

I am all for the lingerie as outerwear trend, and I love the shoes, but she just looks trashy here. Go to any nightclub and you will find lots of girls looking exactly the same.

  30. Michelle November 3, 2011 at 00:24 #

Back to the boobs and legs again, I’m sorry but this look, looks so cheap it looks much too tight on her – judging by other pictures from this event. I wish she would stop the whole just-got-out-of-bed hairstyle, it’s one of the major factors that makes cheapens her outfits.

  31. Stephanie November 3, 2011 at 03:40 #

Blake embraces the Blonde Bombshell she is, she knows she has an AMAZING body and can wear almost anything. As for the shoes,(Don’t get me wrong, I love my Louboutins to death) but if I had of known how uncomfortable Louboutins were, I would have gone a shoe size up as well.

  32. Saara November 3, 2011 at 12:10 #

no no no, it’s all wrong. TACKY. The shoes are divine but too big for her.

  33. Carrie November 6, 2011 at 00:47 #

    Ugly, cheap, awful.
Yep, she looks like a hooker. And not an expensive one.
