On Friday, Leighton Meester looked very cozy on the set of ‘Gossip Girl’ in New York City.
The actress wore a chic Diane von Furstenberg ‘Mikhaila’ belted wool coat.
Her coat, with a notched collar, wide lapels and slash front pockets, was teamed with a bright orange Loewe ‘Amazona’ satchel, DKNY floral tights, a soft cream scarf and Badgley Mischka satin pumps.
Last time out Leighton wore a veiled beret, on this occasion she wore a cute mini hat which is perched to the side by Ciao Nina.

I love everything except for the hat and bag.
I really don’t like those little hats they keep putting on Blair, especially since it’s a pretty bad attempt to hide Leighton’s bangs. Bring back the headbands or stop.

i know right? every outfit i see has these mini hats on her. Maybe the costume department thinks that since she is quasi royalty, she has to wear them. Once she marries she gets upgrated to real hats…..

The fascinator is incongruously small in relation to the bulk of the coat and I like that actually….love the floral tights and the bright orange bag too, which pulls everything together with a pop!
