Noomi Rapace In Giambattista Valli – ‘Babycall’ Rome Film Festival Premiere

Noomi Rapace made a return to the red carpet for the Rome Film Festival premiere for ‘Babycall’.

The Swedish actress wore a Giambattista Valli Pre-Fall 2011 dress.

Her red one-shoulder silk jersey dress has a grosgrain insert at the waist and a bow shoulder detail.

Noomi made this look her own by draping the dress over her shoulder.

With her hair in a tight bun she accessorized with a black and gold Lara Bohinc clutch and a gold cuff.

Despite Noomi wearing one of my favourite designers, I can’t get passed the pumps.

Earlier this year, Noomi made a huge splash on the red carpet, so I’m disappointed by her safe, inappropriate shoe choice on this occasion, even if they are by Christian Louboutin.

These heels are not red carpet worthy and should never been placed anywhere near this dress.

They are so heavy that they weigh down the look.

Earlier the same day Noomi wore a Viktor & Rolf Resort 2012 black silk mix tuxedo with a red blouse for the photocall.

I love her wavy hair.

On this occasion her fringed Louboutin’s work perfectly with this luxe menswear look.

I’m it total agreement FC she totally pulls off the photocall outfit and her hair brings a new level of chic. I really love her red carpet look up until the shoes they are just way too heavy, it’s just so wrong. But she is so close

Photocall look is good. Red carpet would be good with a different pair of shoes. I like the shoes but not with the gown.

Agreed. I’d love those pumps with a more casual outfit but NOT with this dress!
Too bad because otherwise she looks very nice.

Me, too. The red gown is gorgeous and she looks really beautiful.

I love her photocall look, love her face, her hair and I love her in red – I don’t love the shoes, but then I don’t hate them either (i know this is bad on my part, but there it is!)

same here. the shoes do not bother me enough not to love her on the red carpet.

You’re right, the pumps are too much, but they don’t even bother me so much, she looks amazing

is it me or does her head seem too big and almost (though not) pasted on top in the photocall look?

  6. Chloé November 1, 2011 at 20:10 #

You misspelled her last name in the title :)

      thanks for pointing that out

Don’t like the tight hairstyle on her–makes her cheeks look too round; The dress is okay–nothing spectacular and the shoes are a mistake. Like the photocall look–she can wear red, for sure.

The shoes don’t bother me as much since her dramatic makeup balances it out.

She looks gorgeous and her makeup and dress on the red carpet are both great.

shoes are great and dont really distract from the overall look..cant wait on what she will wear for Sherlock Holmers

Not the worst use of black pumps. These are kind of interesting so I don’t mind.

Shoes are awesome as well as the dress. She looks gorgeous.

i totally agree.. these shoes are way too heavy for this dress and way too casual. another open toe strappy shoe would have been ideal or any other color… gold, silver.. etc.. its a shame that she chose this black shoe for this dress because its absolutely gorgeous and you can do so much with it.
