Last week Garcelle Beauvais attended the 2011 amfAR Inspiration Gala Los Angeles.
The ‘Franklin & Bash’ actress donned a black halter bodysuit which she teamed with a St. John’s sequin gown skirt from the Fall 2011 collection.
She completed her look with side-swept hair, flawless makeup and Miriam Haskell for Decades jewels.
I’m not crazy about the bodysuit as it’s not as luxe as the skirt which is too long. She’s had to place it high on her waist to prevent it dragging on the floor.
I wish the bodysuit been satin to match the waistband on her skirt.
This could’ve been an amazing look, but too many small things are bothering me.

Wow that’s what 44 looks like with zero (noticeable) plastic surgery. She is so beautiful!
I like the bodysuit, it really highlights her great shoulders and shows off her skin. I don’t like the skirt, I doubt anything could be changed to make me like it.
i agree. the top part looks really good on her, but i feel that the skirt makes her look boxy in the waist. Or it should lie lower on her hips….
Somehow the idea of the outfit is better than the execution.
I have the same feeling every time I see her on the red carpet. Something’s always not quite right.
Another small thing that bothers me is her eyebrows, a bit too light, could`ve been a bit darker/closer to her hair color.
Only like the hair, makeup and jewelry. Dress is sad.
