Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Monthly Archives: October 2011

On Friday, Ashley Greene attended the ‘Twilight Saga – Breaking Dawn Part 1’ fan event in Stockholm, Sweden with co-star Robert Pattinson.

My heart sank a little when I saw her wearing this gorgeous aqua-blue Versace Spring 2012 dress with a chiffon pleated draped detail and gold studded belt.

I wish our first look at the Versace Spring 2012 collection had been for a grander occasion, with all due respect to Twilight fans.

Her summery dress was styled with a high ponytail and a bold red lip colour.

She completed her look with H.Stern jewels and gold Fendi strappy sandals.

Once over my initial shock, it’s great to see Ashley opting for a more playful and less ridged look.

She’s young and pretty so she should be experimenting more with fashion.

Nikki Reed was in Madrid, Spain on Friday to promote ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1′ with co-star Jackson Rathbone.

Ashley Greene has been opting for sombre navy looks, but Nikki kick started her campaign wearing an orange Michael Kors boucle shift dress with a stitched detail around the neckline.

She finally broke the ‘Atwood/Rossi’ Twilight shoe run, by opting for taupe Camilla Skovgaard sandals with her bright orange sleeveless dress.

Loose waves and glossy lips finished the chic look.

For the Madrid premiere she opted to wear a green Topshop polka dot long sleeve dress with a keyhole detail.

Her fitted dress was styled with yet another pair of edgy Camilla Skovgaard cut-out leather platform sandals, this time in black.

Earlier today she switched up her hairstyle for sleeker, straight locks when she donned a sassy LBD for the photocall during the 2011 Rome Film Festival.

Her Alice by Temperley dress with an embellished neckline was teamed with black Casadei peep-toe ankle boots.

Nikki’s good shoe run came to an abrupt end at the Lancia Cafe in the Auditorium Parco Della Musica after the photocall.

She unfortunately wore the same black ankle boots with her fuchsia pink Jenni Kayne overlap dress from the Fall 2011 collection.

I’m not sure what possessed her to weigh down her vibrant, pretty dress with black ankle boots, but I hope this is a temporary blip as this is my favourite dress so far.

Which is your favourite?

Fan Bingbing was your overall favourite to win Best Dressed This Week.

The Asian beauty stepped out of her comfort-zone by wearing a Jason Wu Spring 2012 look which took our breath-away.

It was a risk many of you agreed paid off for the actress.

Whilst I agree with you, I was equally blown away by Camilla Belle.

The dress, the lip colour, the hair and most importantly the attitude were all working together to give us this astounding result.

For someone who has a tendency to be quite ‘ho hum’ on the red carpet, she really stepped things up a notch on this occasion.
