Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Monthly Archives: October 2011

Zooey Deschanel kicked off Game 4 of the World Series with a flawless rendition of the Star Spangled Banner at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, Texas on Sunday night.

She donned a patriotic red, white and blue striped Moschino Spring 2011 mini dress for the occasion.

On the red carpet this look may have come off quite gimmicky, but for this occasion the strapless dress with floral embroidery was a fun and typically quirky look for the young star.

Red suede pumps and a half-up, half-down hairstyle completed her look.

Rachel Zoe attended the Rodeo Drive Walk of Style Award Honoring Iman And Missoni in Beverly Hills, California on Sunday evening with husband Rodger Berman.

As well as dressing Iman for this event, the stylist/designer also donned a look from her Spring 2012 collection.

Her all-white look included a chiffon blouse with beautiful ruffled sleeves and high-waist palazzo pants.

It’s a typically effortless look from Rachel with a nod to the 70s era.

The first thing I noticed about this look was Rachel’s bold red lip colour as it really pops against the white look.

Gorgeous waves and a Hermes black clutch completed her look.

Lana Del Rey attended the Q Awards earlier today in London.

The young singer wore a Prabal Gurung Resort 2012 floral print dress to collect her ‘Next Big Thing’ Award at the ceremony which was held at the Grosvenor House Hotel.

If you’re feeling a slight sense of déjà vu, that’s because Sarah Jessica Parker wore a lookbook version of this dress whilst attending a photocall in London last month.

Lana teamed her slash neck, ¾ length sleeve dress with white brogues and large hooped earrings.

The side swept hairstyle, inspired by Salvatore Ferragamo and Betsy Johnson’s Spring 2012 runway shows, continues to be a current hot carpet hairstyle trend.

Carina Lau always appears to be having fun with fashion on the red carpet.

The Asian actress attended the Tianjin Wanda Mansion opening ceremony in China on Sunday evening wearing a Lanvin floral print dress from the Fall 2011 collection.

Her black and white floral print dress ticks all the right boxes: fun, flirty and fabulous.

Carina offset the fully pleated skirt and cuffs by adding black Christian Louboutin Figurina suede ankle boots and a sleek metallic silver bag.

She swept her hair back to keep the focus on this exquisite dress and applied minimal makeup to complete her look.

Hailee Steinfeld also attended Variety’s 5th Annual Power Of Youth Event which was held at Paramount Studios in Hollywood, California on Saturday.

She looked adorable wearing a Chanel cropped black and red jacket over a white Jil Sander top.

Her J Brand shorts were paired with knee-length socks to keep the look more youthful and less Britney.

A fun pork pie hat and Chanel steel toe-cap brogues completed her look.

Since she’s no longer the face of Miu Miu, she seems to be dressing more like a teenager again.
