On Friday, Ashley Greene attended the ‘Twilight Saga – Breaking Dawn Part 1’ fan event in Stockholm, Sweden with co-star Robert Pattinson.
My heart sank a little when I saw her wearing this gorgeous aqua-blue Versace Spring 2012 dress with a chiffon pleated draped detail and gold studded belt.
I wish our first look at the Versace Spring 2012 collection had been for a grander occasion, with all due respect to Twilight fans.
Her summery dress was styled with a high ponytail and a bold red lip colour.
She completed her look with H.Stern jewels and gold Fendi strappy sandals.
Once over my initial shock, it’s great to see Ashley opting for a more playful and less ridged look.
She’s young and pretty so she should be experimenting more with fashion.

It is a gorgeous dress but I don’t think it is the best colour for Ashley, she looks a bi washed out. that just may be the photo though, it may look better in person. I do think its great that she is mixing it up though
Ugh no
It looks way too tight in the boob area, which ruins the look.
You’re right.
This dress deserved better.
+1. TIMBER!!!
yep!
whay did your heart sonk she wore that? I’m confused, do you or don’t you like this outfit on her?!
As explained in the text “I wish our first look at the Versace Spring 2012 collection had been for a grander occasion”
I neither like or dislike this dress on her, but I don’t think Versace is for her.
the dress needs to “oomph” and ashley just doesnt give it that.
well, if Versace isn’t for her, lets hope dkny is for her – they just named her their “face.” i do think you are right though – she is too busty for this dress. she’s a beauty, but for some reason this dress looks way too tight on her.
I’ve never been a fan of Ashley’s in any shape or form and I can’t express my disappointment at her being the first to wear a Versace Spring 2012 dress….and FC you’re right, this isn’t a big enough occasion for this dress.
The colour washes her out and it is way too busty for her, she doesn’t have the attitude to pull if off its that simple. Total disappointment.
Ugh….why does she think that she can pull off looks like this? She needs a new stylist, because she has been doing awful on this tour so far.
I don’t hate it but I don’t love it either, the color doesn’t suit her at all.
She tries. She tries, SO HARD. Yet there is something about her that will forever be mall girl. This would’ve been a really nice look (although, I agree that it’s a little too tight in the bust area) had I not known the dress was Versace, if it had been from Forever 21 instead. That’s the thing about Ashley. She doesn’t make expense clothes look expense. This was one of my problems with her Givenchy as well.
I described her style as “simple” before, but I would also describe Emma Stone’s style as simple. Yet there’s something Emma brings that enhances the clothes.
…Then Ashley might prove me wrong with her DKNY campaign. I wish she would’ve worn something from DKNY. She looked lovely when they dressed her for the MET gala.
On the positive her make-up has been on point. Her hair has been nice too.
It seems like her make up is too harsh for this dress and same with the hair. She never really gets it right in my opinion. Which is a shame bc she is really beautiful
The look itself is very nice, well done, but agree with everyone who thinks that it is NOT FOR HER – not for her body (big/heavy bone) or attitude.
she looks great in the dress but i dislike her makeup…it could have been better
I agree. I think she looks great in the dress too but it’s the heavy makeup that is the problem.
She makes everything she wears immediately dull. This dress would have been divine on someone like Zoe Saldana or Carey Mulligan.
Definitely a wasted Spring dress. Make-up looks zombified. The dress looks faded. And the hair looks like she forgot to get it done.
love this dress but not with this makeup and hair perhaps
The dress is too tight in the boob area, and I think her makeup and hair are way too harsh for such a cute light dress. It isn’t a disaster either but she could have done better.
She made versace look like office wear.
My thoughts exactly or PTA Mommy.
