Victoria Justice attended the 2011 TeenNick Halo Awards which were held at the Hollywood Palladium in California yesterday.
She wore a Tadashi Shoji ruched mini dress, which I suppose is cute enough if you like this type of thing, but I don’t. It’s kinda sickly sweet for me. I actually have a toothache looking at this dress.
I’m also not fond of her Giuseppe Zanotti ankle-strap sculptural wedges with this dress.
Victoria’s hair is also too matronly for this look. Despite it being styled into a central parting with a ponytail, it feels so rigid.
The only thing I like here is the lip colour and the wedges on their own.

So, so, so, so, sooooo cute!!!
i like it a lot too. especially at her age. she should have had a high ponytail instead of the flat hair.
I totally agree with you FC. The dress is cool but the colour is like you said, pretty sickly sweet, I’d love to see it in a different colour. I like her makeup but not the hair. The shoes are cool and I admire anyone that can wear them but they just don’t fit in here. swing and miss for me
Wow I actually think she looks really great! No idea who she is, but she’s working it, she’s having fun and it’s totally appropriate for a teen event.
I agree: fun, fun, fun
Ditto. Normally I`d agree and say it`s overly sweet but in this case it just works, and she works it – fun, cute, adorable, not to mention the great fit! Like everything here including the hair – it does work with her pretty face and with the overall look.
nope not for my taste at all. WAAAAAAAAYYY to sickly sweet
At first I thought it was Nina Dobrev.
I always get them mixed up too
she is only 18 so i think this cute dress is age appropriate for someone like her. hate the hair though.
I agree. That is the issue I have the hair but other than that I think she looks cute.
I think the crushed fabric rescues it from a potential ‘prom dress’ status – and the color is fantastic with her own coloring. Perfectly age appropriate, well fitted. The hair – I don’t know. But overall, a win.
Can someone please tell me how is it possible to walk in shoes like that? I’ve seen Lady Gaga wear shoes like this too and it baffles me!
I was wondering the same thing! I imagine it’s gotta be uncomfortable, to say the least, to stand on tiptoe for extended periods of time. I’m betting it was a flip flops kinda day the morning after, haha.
Exactly what I was thinking? How on earth do you walk in shoes like that? I can’t figure it out!
I wonder too–the shoes are positively scary. Cute dress, though too pink. I agree that her hair is off for the look.
actually is the industrial designer job make this a little bit more confortable, the small curve in the wedge helps and i supposed it feels like a little bit of support for the entire food, actually any heel is supposed to be confortable, is not a natural way to walk
is that the same shoes that Lucy Hale wore at the 2011 Teen Choice Awards????????
i think so
The whole thing is too ballet-like, from the center parted hair to the tutu and the toe shoes. It just looks like a costume.
For me that color in that fabric is a bit much but I still kinda like it. She’s spunky and has attitude and it works with her skin tone.
