Michelle Williams looked absolutely adorable whilst making a guest appearance on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’, which is set to air on Friday.
She’s on the show to promote her new movie, ‘My Week With Marilyn’.
The actress almost reminds me of Tavi here, wearing a Miu Miu Fall 2011 ensemble which wasn’t a runway look.
Her floral embellished black top with a white collar was teamed with a terracotta wool skirt.
I’m picturing Michelle with cute Mary Janes or the black Miu Miu glitter pumps.

Wow – how very retro looking! I am not on with peter pan collars (too toddler-style) but this really looks like something from the 40s or early 50s to me. I like her better in more sophisticated clothing.
gorgeous. im really hoping she was wearing the pretty prada mary janes from the AW11 collection.
I love Peter Pan collars! This outfit is lovely on her.
I love that she’s smiling, the clothes, not so much.
Kinda against adult women (30+) looking “adorable”. Not to mention that the collar is too big.
AW, you just hit upon a pet peeve of mine – using the word “adorable” to describe grown women. It’s infantalizing, imo. I ignore the usage. But just wanted to let you know there is at least one other person who agrees with you.
I dislike this outfit as well.
Awww such a cute outfit.
Ditch the collar and … maybe.
yep, the collar, maybe a bit too big, makes it somewhat costumey.
Ugh
This is okay.
She looks very cute but this is a tad aging, Michelle seems to favor that so…
After a brief hiatus liking Evan Rachel Wood’s peter pan collar, I am back to thinking it is the worst. You’re a grown woman, please dress like one.
I love the peter pan collar. I thinks she looks fanstatic. I want this look!
Too sweet…I pretty much hate sweet.
To complete the look she should have accessorized with a doll or teddy bear.
Hate Peter Pan collars. Reminds me of dresses Mum used to make for me in my early teens. .
Bit harsh, but so true. Way too cute for grown up.
After looking at Miu Miu fall 2011 collection again I noticed there were NO peter pan collars (not even one!)…..more like she borrowed from Louis Vuitton fall 2011 which had PLENTY peter pan collars. She looks great!!……she is channelling Mia Farrow in the 1968 movie “Rosemary’s Baby”.
Yeah, very Tavi. I don’t like this look. She looks like a townie/church lady going to the holiday sweater convention.
