Lauren Conrad In BCBG Max Azria – 2nd Annual Autumn Party

Lauren Conrad attended the 2nd Annual Autumn Party which was held at The London Hotel in West Hollywood.

Yigal Azrouel hosted a fashion show at the event to benefit the Children’s Institute.

The former ‘Hills’ star wore a cute lemon BCBG Max Azria paillette dress.

Her dress is gorgeous. I love the retro hairstyle and the bright pink lips, but the oversized clutch kinda kills the look for me.

Whilst it complements her Aldo peep-toes, it’s overwhelming the whole look.

The snake-skin bag may have cost a fortune, but it looks like she’s carrying a brown paper bag of groceries.

It’s called an Autumn party yet everything about that dress says “Spring!”. Sadly, the bag does suggest she’s received a UPS parcel in mid pose.

Her shoes are from Jimmy Choo 🙂

    That makeup is frightening!

The bag is odd, but I love this look.

Love the dress but everything else is tragic.

Makeup is very bad and the clutch is hideous. Love the hair and dress though.

Love the hair, would love to see a different colour for the dress but it is nice and please get rid of the paper bag

“but it looks like she’s carrying a brown paper bag of groceries.” True, sad but true.

Adorable… minus the clutch. As much as I love an oversized clutch there is a time and a place… like during the day or with some jeans not with a party / cocktail / evening dress. Bad accessories can bring a great outfit undone.

“it looks like she’s carrying a brown paper bag of groceries“…omg F.C!! you actually made me laugh

Oh, gosh, I hate that bag…..HATE it. You’re right, she’s carrying a load of groceries.

Off topic, anyway we can your throughts about Duchess Catherine’s Amanda Wakeley gown?

love the hair! hate the bag!

I think her foundation is far too pancaked to work. And is that blue eye shadow? Shudder. Dislike the hair, too; I mean, I see where she was going with it, she just didn’t get there. And the bag is awful. So much wasted potential.

Very cute dress on her, a bit too short but it works just fine for her. The make-up is a bit too much, rather distracting (than flattering/complementary to the look)

I feel like I have already seen this kind of dress. Sequins on dresses isn’t something new.

  18. robbie October 27, 2011 at 19:14 #

i that a clutch or a travel pillow? the dress looks more like lipsy than BCBG.

Totally agree on the bag–way too big and dull. But otherwise, this is one of her best looks ever in my opinion.

  20. Carolina October 27, 2011 at 18:49 #

Ditto on the bag. Plus, makeup is too harsh. A smaller, coordinated bag would be just the ticket.

  21. Emi October 27, 2011 at 18:38 #

She looks very cute , as usual, but I don’t like the color of the dress. FC, what you wrote about the clutch is exactly what I thought when I saw it! It doesn’t even seem a bag…
