Olivia Wilde attended the 2011 ‘Glamour Reel Moments’ premiere on Monday in LA.
She selected a J. Mendel Resort 2012 colour-block sleeveless dress.
Brian Atwood fuchsia calf-hair pumps provided a pop of colour, but I still find myself unable to get excited the look.
A loose updo and gold accessories provided the finishing touches.
Earlier in the day she joined Zoe Saldana at The New Em(power)ment luncheon.
Her David Szeto red dress with a v-neck and ruffle detailing at the shoulders is pretty enough, but I still feel that Olivia has lost her red carpet mojo.
Miriam Haskell jewels and a Judith Leiber black belt completed her look.

+1 FC.
Dont care for the fuscia pumps with this AT ALL.
Same here. Red shoes would have worked better if she wanted a pop of color.
Yeah, they’re pretty bad. I would have liked a deep wine red a lot better.
+2
I like the hair, makeup and earrings and that’s it. She has the most amazing body so it’s a shame that she opted for something so unflattering to her figure. The fuchsia pumps clearly scream ‘trying to hard”.
*trying too hard
I totally agree with you on the fucsia heels.
Such a beautiful girl, but she always manages to find clothes that don’t make her justice.
I like the second look best, but even if the red dress is pretty, it just hangs on her.
I agree with you. She’s beautiful but she doesn’t know how to dress, at all. Those fucsia pumps are so ugly with that dress, and so heavy. She should take a couple of lessons from O. Palermo about accessories. I think that we overrated her, because of a couple of good outfits.
I agree completely Gabi! I really like the dresses but I don’t think they are the right ones for her, because as you said, she has a great body and should play to that strength. While I get where she is coming from with the fuchsia pumps she should have chosen a colour that didn’t scream ‘notice me’.
I’m not sold on the pop of colour of the pumps and yes, it’s not the most exciting look, but the J.Mendel is the best she’s been looking on the red carpet in a while, IMO.
+1 I agree with everything.
I actually really love the J. Mendel dress and that whole look! Not so sure about the red David Szeto dress though..
I love the J Mendel look!! Her hair and makeup look great. She has a such a beautiful face!
Coral pumps would have been a great choice with that J. Mendel dress.
That is a good suggestion.
I like that she wears more relaxed clothing and isn’t strapping herself into bandage dresses. Having said that, those pumps are hideous – shape and color. The red dress could be a bit more tailored.
I think the second dress looks awful on her! On the other other I think she looks really good on the first one! Very beautiful and very flattering
There’s really nothing wrong with these gowns but they just don’t look good on her, she needs a good stylist.
good point. I do not dislike the clothes, but somehow i also am not impressed by the result. strange conandrum.
“I still feel that Olivia has lost her red carpet mojo” – I have exactly the same feeling.
I think the red dress looks nice on her.
